DF-4: Exponential Smoothing in Hindi | Demand Forecasting | α (Alpha): Smoothing Coefficient

This video talks about the Exponential Smoothing method of demand forecasting. This method as we see in the lecture is an advancement over other time series based methods that we have studied up till this point viz. naive method, simple average, simple moving average, weighted moving average. It is extension over the weighted moving average where in the relation between present period forecast and past forecasts and actual demands is such that it forms a cumulative relationship, there by including an element of all previous demands and forecasts, ye it is not sluggish as averages are.
