This was really Charles Laughton's pcture. Too bad he wasn't able to do the broadcast. I regret too the absence of Elsa Lanchester. The Big Clock is a GREAT movie. I've never understood why it didn't receive greater critical acclaim. It's wonderful to have these radio broadcasts with -- or without -- the original cast.
Hyramess Hiramess The production values, the whole 'New York' feel, and that slimy GEORGE MACREADY made for an EXCELLENT film. On the flip side, the LIVE MUSIC in the radio production did it for me.
You're right, with a slight correction, William Conrad. A prolific radio actor. Listen out for him in many dramas, including his role as Keyes, in the radio adaptation of Double Indemnity.
*BRILLIANTLY DONE! Thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish.* 👏🏻
TY so much for the upload. A wonderful adaptation. Ray Milland, a fine actor on TV, screen & radio.

Mr. Janoth sounds like Robert Conrad. Who was that Detective he used to play on TV on the late 60s & 70s? 'Conrack?'. Anyway, one of my favs...
