So sorry to hear about the health challenges. As someone who struggles with similar problems I can be a beacon of Hope and let you know that you can have better days. The flare ups are so difficult and knowing this about you makes me even more humbled by your artistic abilities. Thank you for your comment. I think you have hit the nail on the head. It is so discouraging when dealing with mystery illnesses to be taken seriously and to find the needed answers. Sometimes those answers take a long time to be discovered, but hold on and keep trying.

I love your sister's sock pattern! I'm always looking for patterns that will go well with self striping skeins but give them a bit more interest than just straight vanilla.
It really is a great pattern. I'm sure it will become a favorite among many knitters when it is released.
First off, what a relief it is to get a diagnosis to explain the way you have been feeling. Sorry the treatments are taking a toll; I wish you well with them! Second, which ball winder do you have? Mine is acting up lately so I’m starting my research now. Thank you for another great episode!
Thank you for your well wishes and support here! As for my bail winder, my husband purchased it online. It is a generic one with no brand listed anywhere or information on it to be able to share where to find one. He doesn’t even know. 🤷🏼♀️😆 I did a search on Amazon for “yarn ball winder” and scrolled down just a bit to find one that looked like it. It said “LAMXD Needlecraft Yarn Ball Winder Hand Operated”. It’s pretty simple and works well, except for when it doesn’t. 🤣 I think that’s the case with just about any though. I find it works best to keep on going with a consistent speed without stopping once I begin.
