Table Tennis is one of the hardest sports to learn. Many people say it's easy, but it isn't. Here is a compilation of very good shots and deeply thought tactics. I hope you enjoy ;)

You need instinct and flex

I am Chinese but wish there would be another Timo in the near future. Whether he wins or not is not important. He's always delightful to watch. Don't have to be the best in the world but player's character/attitude/manners is actually more important. But XX, ML and FZD are all on par, all great players. Thanks to people who share/upload these clips. Deeply appreciated.

Wing To Lau How are you using UA-cam now? Doesn’t the Chinese government block UA-cam and google? Or have you moved to another country?

Why can't the Brits do this? They created the game. Took a Jamaican, Desmond Douglas, for them to even enter TT world stage. Amazing!
Amazing speed
If you haven't tried it already, try watching table tennis matches at a slower speed. It makes it so much more enjoyable seeing how the players position themselves and their paddles while competing. I personally watch at 0.25 playback speed.

It is easy to pick up and start playing.. It is extremely hard to play at a competitive level.
I trained for one year as a young lad and got pretty good. It's a wonderful feeling to react so fast without really thinking. I wish I had kept doing it. I played my brother the other day after years of not picking up a racket. All the training was still there, rusty, but I had a sweat in 1 minute, shaping myself around the trajectory of the ball. Still exhilarating, even at 51 and out of shape.
The slow mo after each ball is kinda annoying... I saw it why do I need to watch it in slow mo again???

1:30 Fan figured serve would not be long and stepped forward. How did he realise this before the serve ball even went down to hit the racket?
Because of Timo's stance and where his head was.His head was almost further to the right than the toss, and that is a tendency he has when he serves short, it is a lot more difficult to serve long in that position.

I just play in basement from time to time. It's amazing how many really suck at ping pong. Just playing anyone they just have no idea at all how to play. I know the game is much harder than the scrubs I play, but people just seem to be so bad with eye hand coordination and hitting the ball really hard. That's how you win.
