Apples and oranges. Marathons are for high mileage (low grip), big apples are for comfort (have great grip but are always soft, even pumped up all the way) and silento, if you can find a set that's 1.75x26.. is fast and has good enough grip, but bare in mind it's from their basic/entry level end of products.
Job well done :) I am changing tires in few days but I am thinking of getting the CST C-1110 which are a bit slicker than these cause I need some more speed. The Silento would be my second option.
@MuchosDk i have the schwalbe city jet awesome tyre done around 200 miles so far no punctures and the rolling speed is amazing mate not suitable for really any off road not even loose dirt happy cycling
@rodgetaylorjnr I´ve never seen the city jet before you mentioned it. Looks interesting. Im thinking og trying schwalbe Kojak and go 100 slick;) Happy cyckling for you too m8.
you can ride any bike you want on a road. Why cant you ride a mountain bike?most people prefer wider tyres on the road which many road bikes dont have clearance for plus the overall posture of many hybrids/touring bikes and mtb is much better than road bikes.
Nice vid. Great bike! Just ordered Sammy Slick front and Hurricane rear. Can't wait going out riding again!
Very nice tyres for distance when riding MTB. No noise, low resistans, lots off speed.
Thinking of trying total slick tires also;)
Yes I actually did try the kojak. Fun feeling riding with them. Great speed.

how did they hold up to the test of time?
Wear and tear!!!?
Hi. Here 4 year after I still use them. They are still "almost" looking like new. :)
Well, did you tried the kojak on a MTB?
Thanks
What are Silento II advantage over standart tires? Are they with steel beds?
Gediminas Jesinas I would def say less rolling restistance and a more smooth feeling.
MuchosDk Really, so it's because punture proof layer?
@wutzi2004 I agree. I did´nt mount them cause of the look you know:D
So much faster on the road.
Small price to pay for best tires in the world.
Most pointless video if ever seen. The bikes a Mtb so should be left with the ralphs on, if you wanna go ride on the road get a road bike dude!
