Brings back memories of my mom's 1984 S10 Blazer. Only her's was a 2 door. Nice truck.....I'd like to see what it runs like. Might be a good candidate to save.
It maybe the piston skirt like the one I had and had the same kinda low knocky noise that went away when it warmed up. Engine still ran over 200.000 miles untill the Vermont rust mites ate the poor old bazer alive. And I did buy from a salvage yard a engine thinking down the road I would need it but of course didn't a 1994 blazer vortec 4.3 multiport exactly like in this truck which has 63.000 that I never used and is still sitting on attached to the engine stand that is for sale if anyone is interested. The 4.3 is basically a 350 less two cylinders hell of an engine.
4.3 liter v6, these easily go over 300K. Aftermarket steering wheel covers, I have to laugh. That’s a $600 bill all day long. Jay, you’re the king of stray cars.
I had a 94 like this but fully loaded..the Tahoe LT trim package..push button 4wd...full leather and spare on the inside and running boards and a fully functional digital dash and the AC was still cold and ran off R12. There's a video of it on my channel. It died at 535,000 miles in 2015...135 is barely broken in
These blazers were awesome vehicles had a 96 had almost a million miles when I sold it still kicking like brand new only time it’s ever been to the shop was to replace the fuel pump but that was a common occurrence on 1988/1999 GM trucks

She's got the 4.3L L35CII, full leather interior with privacy tint on the windows. She's got all kinds of trinkets, and was listed at about $26k. I love her dearly, and plan to keep her going for decades to come. Maybe I should launch a GoFundMe for the restoration, opinions? She's all original, and even has the same Tiger Paw Uniroyal she rolled off the line wih for her internal mount spare. Still smells like a tire factory, haha. It's like a time capsule from 94.
Lincoln update please? Did you ever figure out the ignition switch issue and get her started up? Would love to see that old yacht move under her own power. If I was closer I'd have her off you in a heartbeat. New grille, fresh tires, some 70s / 80s tuneage (never have I seen a car more in need of an 8-track lol) and go cruisin'
Bet you that steering cover was probably because that wheel gets hot as hell. I remember my dads Blazer would just get ridiculously hot inside. It was black, like this one too. Although his was 2 door.
that truck is fucking clean. i wouldnt mind having it. around here they rotted and then disappeared. they are good little trucks. i had a 1984, 1986, and 1994.
my brother in law had a 94 s10 blazer (full size tire inside) I believe he had it when he turned 16. then traded it on an 03 Mazda 6 (leased) (brand new at the time)
A guy I know had an S10 pickup about this vintage, same engine, he paid $50 for it and there was more than that in change inside of it. It had 350,000 miles on it when it finally blew up.
Yeah I'd rather have the red too. Too bad you can't change the interior, that gray was so drab. Hated it then and still do. 93 was the first year it was offered. They had a dark charcoal gray prior.

Man u just dont see stuff like that around here any more that are that rust free. All are rusted away and been scraped. I just recently scraped a 2002 Chevy blazer with 285,000 miles that wasn't that rusty for around here but the engine had a noise and it was burning gas and oil like crazy. So off to the scrap yard it went. Another GM to the scrap pile.
