So I asked them to define 'commercial beekeeping". That's when they suggested that I make an appt with THE CITY ATTORNEY!?! I ran away soooo fast. Turns out Champaign has a plan called "The Green Initiative". It's UN agenda 2030 bullshit and the more I dug into it the worse it looked. The city in the video is being run by the same effing idiots that run Champaign. They live in New York and meet at the UN.

Multicultural tolerance is possible when the people come together as one with respect for others regardless of race, religion, ethnicity etc. One has only to look at some other countries to see this where all religions celebrations are celebrated by the majority of the population of all denominations with true respect and tolerance. My council (Alexandrina) recently tried to ban all boats on the seafront from May to October to save the whales - including the Surf Lifesaving craft. There is data to show that if boats shut off their engines and just wait, the whales will actually come and say hello and then swim off. Go figure.

I'm very far from any water but I tried talking to my local govt about honeybees. Sorry its so unrelated a topic but continue...I'll tie it all together.
Ok? So I called up the city I live in. Champaign, Illinois. It's as blue as it gets. I wanted to get into honeybees so I called the city and asked, "what's the rules on honeybees". They said that they only have one rule. "No commercial beekeeping". Cool!
So I asked them to define 'commercial beekeeping". That's when they suggested that I make an appt with THE CITY ATTORNEY!?! I ran away soooo fast.
Turns out Champaign has a plan called "The Green Initiative". It's UN agenda 2030 bullshit and the more I dug into it the worse it looked. The city in the video is being run by the same effing idiots that run Champaign. They live in New York and meet at the UN.

almost like... they all pay taxes into this. look into how many christmas and other christian related events are celebrated and funded. actually look into it. and these people vote on this with their tax money. I disagree with downgrading the parade, but also; how was attendance compared to the previous year? are the other events bringing in more tourism money?
why have any holiday events when basic shit isn't getting done, I'd rather pay my taxes to get my garbage taken out and have the city properly managed THAN have any sort of celebration of anything. Both sides get to into it; establishing basic necessities with the tax money better helps more people. And sadly, gay pride sidewalks, AND christmas parades shouldn't be a priority when MANY other issues need to be addressed.

And, they're not in the least bit legal.. Councils have no constitutional backing whatsoever in this country. So for legal purposes, they operate as a branch of our State Gov.. Which incidentally is why councils can't make and don't have laws.. Just bylaws.. And as for who votes.. I spent the last few years of my life owning land and paying rates in one region, whilst living in a city nearby. So when it comes time to choose councillors.. Short of committing some act of electoral fraud, I actually had no say at all on the councillors that would have the most impact on my life and assets. The ones who would determine if I was allowed to have a shed, build a fence, dig a hole, own a dog, fell a tree..... plant a tree, etc, etc. lol.

@@matta2738 false we actually do have the facilities infact they have been running at around 20% of capacity since opening many many years ago and guess what out of that 20% 15% is being made from raw materials.
Now adelaide has begun excepting victoria and new south wales recycling as we have the sites here lol.

Our local pot hole patch up squad. Have a-heap of cold tarmac. Fill the hole. Then pat it flat with a shovel. They bring the tarmac on the back of a 10 ton lorry. Do H & S ban them from using the wheels and a stout metal plate to do the job.

So, sydney can't install a few extra street lights to make female locals feel safe but building an airport in western sydney and developing the suburbs full of highrise apartments and filling it beyond its capacity leaving the roads completely congested won't make a dent on the carbon footprint at all.

Correction. Constitutionally there are two tiers of government in Australia. Two referendums on the subject, 1974 and 1988 failed to establish a third tier. Easiest way to solve this issue is to disband these illegal entities.
