I'm only 36 and grew up watching the ABC. The Goodies at 6pm (my love of British comedy), Dr Who at 6:30pm (my love of science fiction), that Peter Russell Clarke 10 minute cooking show, The Bush Tucker Man(both probably responsible for my love of cooking), Danger Mouse, Banana Man, Sesame Street, Mr Squiggle (both responsible for my love of puppets and why I make them), every week in Primary School we would watch Behind The News and have to write a book report on one of the stories from the show, Play School (probably responsible for my creativity, and me ending up being a teacher... only casual now though)......ABC's programming shaped who I am today, mostly because my parents didn't let me watch commercial TV other than the nightly news, 60 minutes and A Current Affair back in the Jana Wendt days. Now I look at the ABC with such disappointment and wonder what happened.
I was the same radio was only on JJJ or 2BL tv only on channel 2. Now the ABC has become such an anti Australian network which should be de funded immediately!!!

Being forced to pay for something you hold to be immoral is a defense of your human rights. Next tax time ask them before you do your to define "income". If they do not define it, how can you be expected to fill out the paper work. There are people who have the know how to beat the tax laws. Look into it mate.
But then again, if you get a group of people together and as a group refuse to pay for evil things, the government will not arrest and jail groups of people. They do not have the room in the jails or time in the "legal" system to process them all.

I was born in the 80’s I was raised to respect women. I grew up with women being equal to men: in school and at work. We have had equality and my Australian family has lived through it. What has been growing in recent years are movements for Inequality under banners of Equality: Feminism, Socialism, Anti-Racism etc. This year has been the worst and to date the tunnel’s not getting any brighter. I look at some of these people complaining and think “God, do we live in the same country? And why on Earth are you so ungrateful?”

I listened to the hard left nonsense on RN radio the other day and sent them an email asking if it was a right wing parody demonstrating how hard left the ABC has become and why it should be defunded, or if it was a serious article because if the former is true it was razor sharp humour, and if it is the latter I am truly concerned about what they are broadcasting on the taxpayers dollar.
