One of the most incredible things I've ever seen - Tang jumps up on a table and grabs the mic in the middle of everyone celebrating the win and shuts down the "F-KU" chant, replaces it with a "K-S-U" chant AND some people actually cheer him for basically reprimanding them and asking them to be better and to see what can be achieved through positivity and love - it's like something straight out of the Ted Lasso universe - I'm watching it thinking how could this even be real? Well done - consider me on board coach Tang Lasso 😁

I agree. Coach Tang isn't just here to make a good asketall team, altough he's certainly done that. He's a visionary like Snyder. He's here to make a complete cultural spiritual overhaul.
It’s just called sportsmanship.. I’ve never heard or seen a crowd act like that when they finally beat a team that’s been whippin there ass for years lol
Not many people know or truly respect KState’s basketball history because of KU. It is probably a top 30 basketball program of all time. It is pure ignorance to think that KState isn’t a basketball school or has had no basketball culture.

Why would he stay if a much-weather Big 10 or SEC University offers him way more than K-State can pay? Texas, Georgetown, Syracuse, Notre Dame, Tech, Ole Miss, and Georgia Tech are all out of a coach. And more may well end up in the same boat after the Big Dance Duke may be one that will be changing. Only time and dollars will tell. K-State is not a wealthy university.

K- State seems to only do one thing at a time. Yes they are back to Basketball but unsure of how long this will last.

This does not automatically produce a change in culture at K-State. They have been so focused for so many years on us as Big Brother and hate and animosity have grown to ridiculous proportions. This will only be made true A) if Tang stays and B) if he can out-recruit the Blueblood down I-70 for the best players. I applaud his efforts but it will not affect Football, their main focus. I believe that another, much wealthier university will see what Tang has done and offer him way more money than little ol K-State can offer out on the plains. He is a young coach and has a lot of years left. Trying to change a culture of hate that has existed in Manhattan since 1898 will take more than him. KSU’s tournament titles are when they beat KU in the regular season at home, every 5-10 years 😂 they should put banners up in their rafters every time it happens bc they will never win a national title. Oh, but “basketball school” 💀
