I'm a Goju Ryu practioner and always look at grappling aspects as the root bunkai. There are techniques that I'm still trying to figure out how they can be applied. Your interpretation of Seiyunchin and Shisochin techniques would be awesome. In the beginning of both kata there are some gathering techniques that are followed by double downward geidan barais. There is also squence of techniques where there is a 180 turn followed by a chudan and geidan uke simultaneously.
Thanks for the video. This is a choke we practice in my karate style. I appreciate the little extras to make it more effective and especially the addition of throws and takedowns.
Hi Todd, totally valid point based on what is shown but short answer is yes there are several ways but it must be adapted and none of that is covered in this video 👍🏻 as titled suggests this just covers essential mechanics which are necessary to establish fundamental efficacy
Thank you, we have recently began using a much better audio device but we are improving this again soon. Thank you for taking the time to feedback :) Appreciated.
@@geocyclist well spoilers but there is going to be a masterclass section on the website which is going to have said close ups and more details to make this look like an uninformed set of ramblings. Stay tuned 😉

I will definitely cover these in the future,
This brings to mind the opening for Chinto kata. Thanks so much for fo the video!
This can definitely be applied at several points in Chinto the first section being one 👍🏻

Really glad you liked it Vince and hope you get to apply it a lot in your training 👍🏻
Nice explanation as always. Thank you for sharing with us your knowledges.
My pleasure :) glad you enjoyed it and found it useful
Choke bar .
OK choke against someone wearing a dogi or winter coat, but can we use it against somebody in a T-shirt?

Nosotros lo llamamos kata juji jime no mae hadaka
Nice video Sensei, but audio was not so good and a few close ups would help a lot!

I agree with Moises, a couple of close-ups of hand positioning etc. would make this already good video even better.
