Honestly while I can understand not liking a character their reason to not like Baizhu before his release was completely random and without proofs. Yes he wants to reach immortality but I highly doubted he was using Qiqi for that, even because it doesn't make sense. He's smart enough to know that first of all it's not Qiqi that he have to study but the seals on her head, it's not Qiqi but the seals. So he's not studying her but the Adepti seals. Also HoYoVerse would never put a pedophile subplot/implication. While at the time I wasn't the biggest Baizhu fan (and I'm still not but I definetely like his character after learning more about his personality and thoughts) I was really bothered by those people claiming he was hurting Qiqi or experimenting on her. Was it Impossible? No. However it lacked proofs, they just assumed that because he wanted to reach immortality then he was hurting Qiqi or something.

Baizhu's best team is hyperbloom with him as a driver actually. I never beaten Raiden so fast before. As long as you give him a DPS*ish build this man is insane

id highly suggest running clam set on baizhu the extra dmg is quite nice if you get con 1 its even better. i also dont get why people keep saying yaoyao is just as good. when you burst with baizhu his shield stays no matter what character you switch to his healing is in bursts unlike yaoyaos slow smaller healing you cant switch off of yaoyao or you cancel her burst. yaoyao offers slightly more in the dendro application area but baizhu beats her in every other area. the fact that you have to stay on yaoyao in order for her burst to stay active is a huge huge dps loss and its one of the reasons shes not that great of a support
slightly? Yao Yao has more AoE, way more dendro application which isn't single target, and he is more of a sidegrade in some teams, but is even a downgrade in other teams, such as Nilou teams. Also 2.5 seconds for his shield to reset is way to slow for fast attacking enemies cause then ur still gonna get it, unlike someone like Thoma who refreshes every second which gives u more interruption res

Yao Yao is just the healing part of Baizhu so not great for Cyno but she really great with any other teams Baizhu can be apart of. Kuki definitely on par with the likes of Bennett, Xingqiu, Sucrose, Fischl, and Xiangling.
I went all in with my primos and starglitter to get him to C6. I have 1 artifact with ER as main stat and ER as substats, his burst is pretty much always ready, 2pc Vourakash, 2pc Deepwood. He's a cracked machine gun damage wise considering he's a pure healer, and his heals are still 5-7k per heal, fully heals my friends by the time his heal beams are done.
If you had a spare guild dreams you could give that nahida and give Baizhu deepwood so nahida can have higher personal damage. Other then that love the vids vain💜

As someone who playing this game for husbandos, and got cyno and alhaitham, and on guarantee 50/50 when this banner release, I'm so happy I get baizhu. I still love yao yao tho. Yaoyao is the most cutest younger sister that I can't never have. I like to put yaoyao and kuki in same team the double healer
I play him in either a hyperbloom or burgeon (yoimiya) team and never had energy issues luckly! His shield is up like 80% of the time BUT his shield is the most horrible I've ever seen not because it breaks, no, it never breaks (plus I have his weapon), it's a strong shield BUT because it disappears every 2.5 seconds to shoot dendro damage.. you get hit SO often.. it's especially annoying with yoimiya :/
I got Baizhu as my first limited 5* five months ago when I first started Genshin, and _I still have not unlocked Apep's Oasis._ My Baizhu is a saint of a patient man who's been sitting at level 6 talents for nearly half a year. His rerun is coming next patch; perhaps I'll be able to level his talents to 7 by then. XD
honestly i just got him bc hes a cool character, his best team comps are with characters i dont have so i dont care too much about how affective he is he is really good at healing tho, makes it easier when no one else wants to be healer in co-op lol

Yoo I use a similar team, I use xingqiu, em raiden, baizhu and dendro mc. I do wanna get either kazuha, kirara or zhongli to replace dendro mc tho but baizhu hyperbloom is so good. Cause using nahida as an on fielder is just asking to be knocked around and die in one hit😭😭 But baizhu can be used on field easily cause he is tanky, tall model = easy dodging, and can heal every ten seconds to keep the whole team at full health at all time👍👍

i pulled for kaveh and got baizhu at like 14 pity lol now hes my dendro applier in a raiden hyperbloom team and hes pretty great for this team (nahida would have been better but i got dehya instead of her lol)
Nah, trust me, while nahida is an amazing dendro applicator because of her skill, using nahida on field is pain. She has a small model so dodging with her does shit all, since she’s meant to be built with em and not hp she easily gets one shot. She gets easily knocked around like a ping pong ball and then goes rip😭😭 Nahida is best used just for her skill and burst, then left off field or else she dead💀 Baizhu is better to use if you need on field dendro application cause he can face tank everything, and heals the whole team every 10 seconds, factor in his burst and you legit never die, he’s also got the tall model so dodging is way more efficient But ya hyperbloom has gotta be his best type of team. I use baizhu in hyperbloom too
