Appalling that Chad & Lori don’t even APOLOGISE to the bro in law for the disruption to their lives! Also Why would they feel the need to hire an atty if they were innocent of all crime?!
It is always smart to have an attorney and to never, ever speak to the police without attorney present. Cops lie, make mistakes, and unlawfully arrest innocent people every day. It is always a good idea to get a lawyer to talk to the police for you, especially if you are innocent. However, Chad and Lori hired an attorney because they were guilty of the most horrific crimes.
Nearly everyone even innocent people hire an attorney when they're accused of crimes & especially for a trial. Maybe I misunderstood your comment. They can't apologise when they're saying they are innocent, there's the trial & appeals still happening but they think of themselves & not of others.
1:25:00 The family wasn't advised or asked for their permission to exhume Tammy? yeah, and, so? What does that have to do with Chad's guilt or innocence? I feel bad for Prior having a weak case, but coming back over and over to this irrelevant side note just highlights how weak the case is.
Great witness. I wish they had given him some prep before he called Chad though. I think if he had been prepped he could have got a little more out of them.
I didn’t know he wasn’t put on her headstone. Wow! I know in my family everyone does that because it bothered me in some weird way seeing my grandparents names who were still living on my deceased grandparents headstones. It made me sad as a young girl but it was explained to me why it was done that way.
That's if they're planning to share a cemetery plot. Mormons often put spouse names even if they're not going to be buried together. Like it will say "Beloved Wife of..." with the husband's name. It's for genealogy purposes, since that spouse might not be sealed. My understanding is that they are buried with whatever spouse they are sealed with, so Chad was likely planning to be buried with Lori. The fact that he didn't put his name on Tammy's headstone meant that he wanted that marriage erased from history. It wasn't enough insult that he sealed himself with Lori; he wanted to completely delete Tammy from his family tree.
@@waypay1 oh wow. Thanks for sharing that with me. So that brings such a different light to that now. Too bad they couldn’t have made that more clear to the jury like you did for me. I do have an understanding of the sealing in the Mormon religion. I wonder what his kids thought of that and what he told them as to why he didn’t put his name on the headstone. I can’t remember what Chad said about being sealed to Tammy. Anyway, thanks so much for your comment.
@@bethanywhite877 You're welcome! I'm lucky enough to have a Mormon friend to explain all the scandalous parts to me. 😂 I can't WAIT to hear his kids testify. I could understand standing by their dad if they were little children who lost their mom and have only their dad left, but they are adults. Most of them were grown when Tammy died. If there was even the slightest hint that my father was involved in my mother's death, he'd be cut off. It's also creepy that Chad was bragging his kids can keep secrets. I hope the prosecution asks some good questions when they get up there.
Always so bizarre to hear criminals whine about suspecting others of reporting them and being harassed by law enforcement. The young man who murdered my granddaughter said in a call to his mom from police headquarters, OH Mom, they really screwed me over here! He begged her to get him out of it. He couldn't seem to understand how he'd put himself in that position.
I'm not going to lie his children are questionable either he has completely manipulated them or they are also a part of their mother's passing.Tell me how they are ok with there Dad having dead kids in the yard him being accused of murdering there mother. Also another red flag the day the children were found the daughter was crying I love you Dad obviously Chad has no emotions he's not crying at all she doesn't ask who are the people or the person buried in the yard she doesn't even bother to ask.Its all nutty then I think if he can manipulate Lori as quick as he did then of course his kids are completely manipulated by him Tammy was also manipulated by him.I wonder if Tammy really believed Chad bullshit or just played along to keep the peace
On I think when it was Tammy's sister or someone's testimony Chad was labling different people as dark and light to Tammy and the kids , then he would ask Tammy to pray about it and she would roll her eyes then do it and give him an answer . I wish I could remember exactly who said that so he was spewing that BS to her and the kids but with her rolling her eyes I'm guessing she was just pacifying him . His own brother-in-law we just watched said that these so called near death experiences wasn't spoken about until he started up with Julie Rowe so we know he made all that up
His kids are victims too even if they don't realise it. He doesn't care about them ether. He just uses them when it suits him, like when he had Emma move into his house from across the road to hide evidence in "his and Lori's room" and the mattress upstairs where he killed their mother, when he had his son Garth call 911 when Garth found her body (he wanted him to tell them that CHad found her body and called him in...but he said "I found her body" and Chad took the phone off him to control the narrative... He was running from the police with Lori and spending their mother's life insurance. He told his kids he wasn't their father anymore and he was an 'empty nester'. He just wanted to go off and act like a young lovestruck man without responsibilities. They were 'raised' by a covert narcissist who used coercive control and lies to control their lives.
@@madsdee7803as angry as I sometimes feel toward his kids and the few behaviors we’ve seen from them so far, I strive to continue to keep in my mind and heart everything you just said. I think it might be very difficult while hearing them testify for their dad but I will keep an open mind and mostly an open heart. I agree with all your sentiments
In my humble opinion, it ended because Chad and Lori suspected that he was working with the police (as his comments seemed more and more disjointed and intrusive).
The defense attorney ask question that he could ask Chad. His questions are so bad and he acts like he doesn't know what is going on??? He is so bad and really doesn't have anything because Chad is so guilty!!
I am coming to that conclusion too. I think Chad was definitely a part of the manipulation of others in the group, though. He wasn’t innocent of this to me. He had the twisted ideas and gave Lori the ‘bullets’ to her ‘gun’. They are as bad as each other, plotting and planning together. The joint phone conversations reflect that.
Yeah every time he put the speaker phone on so she could control conversations and join in with coercing people to do what they wanted. They just did it together and even laughed together because they didn't believe the rubbish. They just wanted to manipulate their chess pieces into doing what they wanted. They both did it before they met each other too, with Lori accusing men of being abusive and coaching her kids into lying and Chad trying to get people to move to Rexburg so he could use them for money or whatever he wanted. Just a pair of psychos who became serial killers together.
@@madsdee7803You hit the nail on the head with this comment. These two diabolical dunces fed off one another's delusions. They answered to no one but each other and tragedy was the result. I’d really love to know where Chad and Lori were when he was late to his wife’s funeral. Where their cell phones were. Was she in the area at this time ? I can’t keep track of who was where and when.
I thought this, I thought he sneaked off to be with her at that time, just couldn’t help himself. I suppose also they had a lot to talk about l, like getting away with it all. It’s laughable except they went after the kids so it’s evil, pure evil in action.
I think Chad was late to the funeral luncheon on purpose because he didn't want to answer questions from Tammy's family. He was avoiding them. When he did come he didn't even stay, he said they (him and his kids) had other places they needed to go.
All his kids have been coerced into doing Chad's bidding with fear, flattery, having their mother's money thrown their way etc (the recordings and testimonies from people he tried to coerce into moving to Rexburg show how he uses fear to try and get people to do what he wants).
@@madsdee7803 he’s pretty manipulative. told lori her dead grandfather was communicating with him and that she was in danger all because she wouldn’t respond to him. Imagine how he might’ve manipulated his own children who were more susceptible because it’s their freakin dad

Lori and Chad were telling everyone Charles died of a heart attack, so they were trying to hide that from Chad's family by calling her Lori Ryan.

The whole situation is so pointless. They could have divorced and lived happily ever after until Lori got sick of him.. Tylee was almost out of the house and if they really didn't want JJ, they could have had Charles or other family care for him. Both Tammy and Charles could have moved on.

Do you think there's a possibility that Chad convinced his children that Tammy was dark? Does anybody know whether Chad's children shared the same opinion as their father about the light and dark people ?
Yes, I personally do. They’ve followed him as the head of their family and as a spiritual leader in their lives. That’s been substantiated. So where is the line? If they believed his other visions and assertions, it would make sense that they may also believe their mother was dark, if that’s what they’ve been told. And if they believe that, then all of this would make sense to them and mean they don’t have to feel the weight of the wrong that’s been committed.
The prosecutor dropped the ball on this “family law attorney” business. Lori wanted him to say he was “their family attorney” meaning “I can’t talk to you. We have a family attorney”. That’s what she said - nothing involving custody or a “family law attorney”. They should’ve played that part again. And if it had been a family law attorney related to custody shouldn’t they have been reminded that chad told him they were empty nesters? (Though that might have been Samantha who said the empty nesters thing )

HELLO!! They are liars and cons 🤬 Read the room already 🤪
I don’t think they did. Chad knew Jason wouldn’t get involved with that crap. It was just a ploy.
1:25:00 The family wasn't advised or asked for their permission to exhume Tammy? yeah, and, so? What does that have to do with Chad's guilt or innocence? I feel bad for Prior having a weak case, but coming back over and over to this irrelevant side note just highlights how weak the case is.
The LE obtained a warrant to exhume. They didn't have to alert anyone. Especially a suspicious person!
Jason gwilliam is very credible witness my opinion I like the way he answear question!
I hope that it's a relief for Tammy's family that he decided not to put his name on her headstone.
@@snowwhite2524 agree. I’d get a new one
I can't WAIT to hear his kids testify.
Jason did JJ, Tammy, Tylee and Charles GOOD. He was essential to this case.
When daydreaming become visions 😒😏
When total bs becomes ‘visions.’
Truth @@river8760
When bs becomes deadly reality. Chad is a piece of scum. He didn't deserve Tammy..
Notice how Lori butts in conversation °°
Always so bizarre to hear criminals whine about suspecting others of reporting them and being harassed by law enforcement. The young man who murdered my granddaughter said in a call to his mom from police headquarters, OH Mom, they really screwed me over here! He begged her to get him out of it. He couldn't seem to understand how he'd put himself in that position.
Why does lori think he would have allegiance to them and not Tammy's family
So we can come to that possible and perhaps likely conclusion.@@cyndieve6032
Why did their phone call suddenly end…?
In my humble opinion, it ended because Chad and Lori suspected that he was working with the police (as his comments seemed more and more disjointed and intrusive).
I’m thinking he thinks Chad is a killer because he was mostly stilted when answering Prior’s questions…🤷♀️
Any one with a brain knows Chad is serial murderer.
The defense attorney ask question that he could ask Chad. His questions are so bad and he acts like he doesn't know what is going on??? He is so bad and really doesn't have anything because Chad is so guilty!!
1:05:53 Wow! That Lori is a piece of work. Prosecutors doing work for Prior....to me it seems like Lori is the mouth piece.
@@madsdee7803 Spot on
@@madsdee7803You hit the nail on the head with this comment. These two diabolical dunces fed off one another's delusions. They answered to no one but each other and tragedy was the result. Just because he's bumbling, boring and soft spoken doesn't mean he wasn't a skilled spiritual manipulator. Lori's unrepentant and so is Chad.
Heather's evil? J.c. are they sick!
What a difference! Chad compared to Jason. Samantha married well.
Did Lori go to the funeral luncheon later? I can't recall.
I think Chad was late to the funeral luncheon on purpose because he didn't want to answer questions from Tammy's family. He was avoiding them. When he did come he didn't even stay, he said they (him and his kids) had other places they needed to go.
It funny how chad kids was perfect but everyone like Tammy was evil nit mother kids I think all hes kids are like him.liatr
@@asapcasper1367it's so freaking mind-blowing when you hear the texts he sent to try and get Lori to answer him. To use her dead grandfather and it's even more mind blowing that she believed him and still does. This is the kind of thing that can happen when you tell a very narcissistic, selfish, manipulative person that they are an exalted goddess over and over. This should be a lesson for people who have people like this in their lives.
@@asapcasper1367I still can't figure out who was more manipulative, Lori or Chad.
@@ashleymaddox9829 match made in hades. Hearing all of the calls and seeing the body cams…Lori really is a master manipulator. However, judging by how the kids are reacting and how he treated Tammy… Chad is only slightly behind.
what was the reason that chad told him her name was lori ryan and not mentioning vallow?
Vallow is a less common name than Ryan. There are a thousand Lori Ryans. Also, everyone that googled Lori Vallow said that news stories about Charles Vallow's death came up. Lori and Chad were telling everyone Charles died of a heart attack, so they were trying to hide that from Chad's family by calling her Lori Ryan.
Yh they tried to delete the 5th chapter of her weird marriage history by avoiding mentioning vallow, cos charlie was all over the news...when confronted bout this specifically I believe I remember the excuse was Lori didn't want the stigma of being associated.....so laughable if it wasn't surrounded by dead people that they in fact created all the chaos that they were trying to detach themselves from....this is warped from top to bottom
Plus Charlie tried to warn Tammy about the affair......
Common sense is a wonderful thing! 😁
Shady people construct lies all the time. Chad and Lori lie constantly.
He didn’t want them to google her. Lori Ryan would be a very common name.
Now he has all the time for the rest of his life to sit and think how he tortured two little kids death and nothing about it going on holiday in Hawaii with his evil partner…. Both of them, Chad an Lori enjoying the life they both deserve…. Breaks my heart, and I think of those children and his former wife how they could be enjoying life at this moment
The whole situation is so pointless. They could have divorced and lived happily ever after until Lori got sick of him.. Tylee was almost out of the house and if they really didn't want JJ, they could have had Charles or other family care for him. Both Tammy and Charles could have moved on.
@@SD-co9xeThey were too lazy, dumb and arrogant to build an honest life. They had live off of their partners. So they thought they had to do what they did.
Why is CD and LV’s convoluted beliefs system sound like the tv series “The 100” in which the grounders, mountain people, ice people and sky people all strive to reach the city of light only to find something else along the way and by eliminating other people along the way to achieve what they want.
That was a good series! I see your point. 🙃
The God and the Goddess, while lounging by the pool, didn’t strike me as preparing to save the world. Looked like just getting a tan.
Did Chad move to Rexburg to be closer to Julie Rowe? Or was it solely for him to find a more secluded place to build his fantasy cult?
Interesting! I have no idea but now I’m guessing that Julie was living there at the time and this is something I somehow missed. Is this implied somewhere? I know the LDS world was having their 🤯 with JR conspiracies about 8 years ago. Is there citing of her living location during all of that coverage?
That IS interesting.
They believed in the crap he said. It's in heather daybell's testimony
Lori….still waiting for the “ Blueprint” to come through.
Hummm... So Chad was a nutcase long before he met Lori? Yeah that's what we thought.
Chad wanted everyone to move to Rexburg as an oasis, then when things got hot he wanted everyone to leave Rexburg cuz it was going to destruct.
I lived in Wyoming, the flaming gorge reached there. As a Californian born and raised, it was gross honestly. Idk how it looked/looks in Utah but....ew.
