For the Hyperspace Topography--make sure you do an Active Sensor Burst next to every gas giant you come across. Each one gives you +5!

Since your colonies just ticked up to a new size, you could consider turning off their Hazard Pay for a little while--your colonies won't drop back to their previous size, and it'll probably turn the colonies losing money into money-makers--or at least a little closer to net zero!

Great game, only had two points of minor annoyance, figuring out where to pick up the quest, especially after you don't play for a hot minute, and commanding ships, and how they are seemingly hesitant to follow commands given, at times.
