Don't fix the rip in the radiator hood, just install some flame effect led lights inside ;)

Those older Volvos are probably one of if not the best wheel loaders ever made

Don't mean to be off but for most of my 45 years moving loads all over Continental North America was with heavy equipment and oversize loads, If I could be so brave to offer a suggestion. A lot of people will say you don't need to cover the exhaust stacks (particularly when hauling equipment backward because the have a block inside that doesn't allow the air to reach the turbo and spin it when it not running) it does not however stop rain, snow and other elements from possibly entering engine components. It is always best and safest to cover exhaust . I used to use an old inner tube piece(about 2-3 ft. folded over and use a bungy to wrap around it.

I hope that you will consider this note about engines that run on propane. Check all of the intake manifold nuts, bolts and studs are tight. One of the over looked items. I worked for the guy who developed the propane system for forklifts and other machines.

Volvo is a whole different animal, Sweden sure knows how to make them. Your Mack truck and trailer are awesome! Great video!!

That’s Beast of a Machine Sam. Matt will be Sick when he claps eyes on it. 👍🔧🇬🇧

  • @joshloughner847

What a gem, Sam. I heard Frank say he was jealous, so it sounds like you got a decent deal. May come in handy with this snowstorm coming👍 Appreciate all you do, keeping the videos rolling in. Here's to 2024!

Fat Allis over at Diesel Creek is gonna be so jealous. What a nice rig for 21k hours! Wonder what the hell blew through the top of the back hood?

  • @REDBIRD-95

It's a beaut Clark👍 Wow, that's a nice loader and didn't take much to get her going. Usually the equipment you and Matt rescue are in a far more dilapidated condition requiring lots of effort to bring them back to life.

  • @awstott

Mr diesel creek bought another new loader? Will be interesting to see what he picked up. Looks like you got a nice machine there Sam. Hopefully it serves you well.

Cutting Edge Engineering hat! I love when UA-camrs wear each other's merch!

  • @dieseldude8657

You are right, it is a, Deutz engine. The problem with the engine not stating is the injector cups.

  • @jeremyphillips7535

I live in the city. Do I need a loader? No. Do I want a loader after watching the video? Yes! As Sam said, it would be good for snow removal 👍

  • @ukoldgit

Matt's Fat Alice is going to be somewhat outclassed!!!!!!

  • @robstone9628

you really should have filmed the power washing, love watching that

  • @johnnyhomegrownholmgren9999

That’s a rock solid loader! 👍 And for the first time, someone that finally finding a Volvo loader in the US, that ain’t completley trashed into pieces! That L90 got plenty of life left in it. 20k hrs on a loader here in Sweden ain’t unusual. But if you are looking for a new bucket, i would recommend Volvos grading bucket. It has a low backside and a longer bottom, and that will give you clear sight of the cutting edge.

  • @boodoorn

Those volvo E and F series loaders are so good. Ive had a few of them and they are rock solid machines.

  • @CaptianKaos

    What a score Sam.

  • @forumbezoeker

The V-belt driven delivery pump sometimes leaks. You can repair it again.. the coolant will not leak, but with this type of Deutz engines the cylinder sleeves sometimes want to drop. nice machine, good luck with it. we have several. liked it well. best wishes for 2024
