Actually, Besiege is Turing-complete, so it is theoretically possible
In practice only a small computer/calculator could be made on a non-NASA non-supercomputer.

oh he would love that game! poly bridge has its limitations with what kinda funkiness you can build because its deterministic. click play and you can no longer influence what happens.
in ppg you can control your contraption and it opens up a lot more possiblities.

They do make excavators where the bucket can spin and face sideways or forward so your first design was valid.
