Funny! I've watched the gentleman's video about a thousand times to!! Now I've reached yours. 😊❤ I think I'll jus stop worrying now and jump in. I bought so many beautiful spindles of Christmas ribbons, and a lot of empty wreath forms! Thanks for the help and motivation. To anyone else who might be reading this, I made my first deco mesh bubble wreath in this fashion. What I did after the anchor tie and measurement with my hand was pinched it and acted as if it were tied down, and fluffed it to see if I liked the measurement. I adjusted and measured to my liking if this helps anyone. Have a smashing great 1! 😊❤
Thank you! Also I appreciate your update about measurements. I'm the type (as many others are) that like to know measurements of what I'm looking at being made. Then I make adjustments to my personal taste once I'm comfortable with what I'm doing, as I always encourage others to do as well! 😊
Thank you! I think the pipe cleaners to secure it better is probably different, but once I realized I had a "floppy" problem, I needed to fix it lol. I really really wanted to use those 5 ribbons so it was heavy! I had honestly considered scrapping the video at that point, but I figured we all run into issues that need to be fixed now and then, so I may as well show it all! 🤣😊
Thank you so much for your wonderful tutorials. They are so easy to follow. I am in my 70's and just starting to make wreaths and can't believe how nice they look. Your instructions are super. I have had had a machine embroiderer for years but always wanted to make wreaths. So thanks again.
I see these wire wreath forms in so many different shapes and sizes all the time when I film my Dollar Tree videos. I’ve wondered about all the ways people can use them. I made a heart one. This is a great idea. I love how it turned out. I’m learning new ideas and skills from you! Your talent is inspiring. I am Happy to be learning and growing together with you.
I am a newbie crafter and I love making wreaths. This video is so easy to follow and it's beautiful. I can't wait to make one. Thank you for all you do
That is a beautiful wreath I'm glad you share this with us and how the bowdabra works I just do my bows by hand I have failed over and over and then put it split on each side and then put a twist tie on it I love the way you made your wreath that is gorgeous
So pretty. I know what you mean about people measuring with their hands. I can't figure it out in inches to measure, since we all have different sizes hands!! lol. Thanks for sharing your ribbon wreath. Very good instructions as usual.
Thank you Sherry, I always enjoy reading your comments! I'm sure many people have caught on by now that I can be a bit particular about things lol, so I need measurements even if they're not exact, but something to work with at least...but I know I'm not alone! 😂😁
Thank you for your step by step instruction details. Hopefully, I will be able to work through some of the kinks on my next one. I used 4 ribbons (2/2.5 and 2/1.5). I need to work on my fluffing. I now have my Valentine Ribbon Wreath! Thanks!😊 9:30
This is absolutely beautiful I've never seen a ribbon wreath look as great as yours. I'm going to have to get some ribbon and try this or get into my ribbon stash and figure out colors I'd want to go together. Thanks for sharing this stay safe Deb
So pretty! I've made several of these for gifts and myself! They do take time to make but so worth it! The combinations are endless because there are so many beautiful ribbons out there! I made one this past Christmas for my MIL with red velvet ribbon with gold trim along the edges! Just all the same color, and it looked so pretty! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Debbie! Yes, it did a bit to make, but not as long as I thought...fluffing is really the longest part. I can't wait for Christmas now to make these, as you said the possibilities are endless! The velvet sounds so pretty! ❤😊
I know the video that you mentioned, and that's what I followed. Just as you did, I had trouble with the coverage. Thank you for helping figure out how to counteract "the flop"!
Great video! I’m a beginner bow maker, and I have an unhealthy amount of ribbon, so I thought I could try a wreath, watched your video….. so easy! And I need to invest in the bowdabra!
Thank you so much for this!!! I am doing a pop up shop fir Valentine’s Day (I am a wedding florist) but this is a great way for me to decorate using my stash!!!
Thank you so much for this video! I'm a beginner and was having such a hard time trying to figure out how to use multiple ribbons for a wreath. Your video was so helpful!
Thank you! If you use 4 ribbons instead of 5 then it probably won't be so heavy/floppy and won't need the extra securing like I did here. I was just insistent on wanting to use all those ribbons together! 😂
I’m new to all of this wreath making and thus far your tutorial has been by far the most helpful!! Thank you so much for explaining and showing everything in such a detailed way! I can’t wait to try this! I have three 2.5” and one 1.5” ribbons so we’ll see how it turns out. Oh, and I watched that guy’s video and while helpful yours is still so much easier to understand as someone new to the process!
This wreath is so gorgeous and thank you for the hand tip. 😊👏👏👏🥰 I have really small hands but, guess what, yep my palm thumb to pinky edge is 3 inches 🎉🤗🎀 so I guess I just have stubby fingers lol. 👍😊🤗I enjoyed your tutorial and can't wait to see more.
Such a wonderful idea!! I think I’ll have to try it!! I can picture your wreath in a little girl’s room!! I think I heard you right, that you used 8 yards of ribbon and 5 different ribbons!! Absolutely beautiful!! 🌸💕⭐️
Thank you great job. I can understand about the guy I saw his presentation too. But I like your better, you explain it much better then he did. Thank you. I will keep you in my followers for sure.
Thank you very much! I hope no one thinks I was being mean, it's a great tutorial, very concise but enough to get the wreath done. I just always laughed to myself about not knowing his hand size lol 😂
@@JKatsKreations I can understand that to. But his come out very nice too, But I like your better for my style. Simple but outstanding. It will go with any decor in any home.
Jen this is so cute and I suppose simple looking (not that it is), but not all the fluff I guess. The colors you chose with be be great spring into summer colors. I can see adding a small bunny then taking him off and adding a pair of flip flops or something beachie again not big just to change it up. Just cute!! Thank you and I enjoy watching you. I have made one of your wreaths so far well I made one twice. You do give good instructions, maybe it is the ribbons I did the loop center wreath. Keep it up and so glad I am subscribed to get notified. Thanks Gale
Thank you so much Gale! I know what you mean, I like the simpler look, but it's very cute and fun at the same time. I also like that these can be made easily for any season, holiday, or theme! 😁
I love your wreath, colors, patterns and smart tips like the big zip ties! I tried using little black ones from Dollar Tree. Problem is when you pull the loops out, they occasionally broke!😩🙈
That looked so simple and very cute. You made the instructions very understandable, and let me tell ya, l will turn 71 on March 18th, and I NEED simple instructions, because I might have a senior moment, lol. I have never made a bow in my life, but maybe I will be able to if I get me one of those....'bow dabber' that may not be the right spelling, but I am a louse speller, ......o well sometimes I spell likeI hear it. That is really scary, I did actually graduate high school way back in 1967, sometimes I even wonder how I did that. My husband, Harold, my soul mate, were married for 9 days and then he went to Vietnam for a year. He passed away Dec. 30, 2015, I haven't really wanted to do much of anything since he died, even though we had 2 kids, Harold was my life. Some days are really bad, I even feel like I can't breathe, and it feels like he was just here. One night I was surfing the internet and I saw you ladies making those different wreaths, and I told my daughter about them. I said maybe I could try that, so I am, just as soon as I can get the supplies. Thank you so much for sharing all your creativity with us, I have watched several of your videos. So thanks again and God Bless, Sincerely, Shirley B from Texas, e-mail, hwbflash67@yahoo.com.
Good for you Shirley I am in my 70's too and just starting make wreaths. My my first one the other night and was thrilled with it. Love JKatsKreations. Best videos ever. So easy to follow.
This is one of the most beautiful projects I have viewed. Seems so simple. How many ribbons did you use, I think I am going to try this one, It looks far more elegant than other styles. You are awesome thank you for sharing this video.
Nice to meet you. I really like this idea of ribbons. Darling. I love the color of pink and I love the idea of polka dots. Adorable. I am finally signed onto You Tube. It took me a month to join. It was so confusing.
Visiting Fife is on my bucket list. My maiden name was “Fife” and I was born and raised in the Appalachian mountains of Kentucky. Would like to research the surname.
Have you tried doing the loops less than 3" ? (You would use less ribbon.) 🤔But, then I wonder if it would be harder to fluff the ribbon at the end? Beautiful wreath, Thank you for sharing! 💕
I haven't but it's something that can definitely be done different ways! Like you said, smaller loops maybe, larger ones, more ribbkn, less, etc. I just show things I wanted to try, but feel free to make changes on yours! 🙂❤
You absolutely could. I chose to use zip ties because I wanted a good hold on the ribbon so that's why I used only one bar. I plan to try with pipe cleaners wrapped around 2 bars and update the description to let everyone know if that worked better for me. The weight of 5 ribbons could have contributed to it too. I'm honestly usually a pipe cleaner person and I thought I'd do this with zip ties since a lot of people seem to prefer zip ties. Wrapping the pipecleaner through the ribbon worked like a charm to fix the flop though so either way would work. 😊

Thanks for the additional information on fixing the floppy bows. This makes so much sense!😁
Love the wreath, and the bow. Thanks for the tip about using 2 bars instead of 1. Looks Beautiful on the wall.

So cute! With those lovely colors, I'd make that into a watermelon or strawberry wreath.
I’m a beginner and you have made me so excited about this thank you
Thank you for the great slow instructions. I made two but found a few tips watching you. Thank you

I used 5 different ones and it was a bit heavy, but I liked the way they looked 🙂
I made this with patriotic ribbon and my girls were fighting over it 😂 Thank you for this super cute idea❤
Love the wreath. Can it be made with non wire ribbon? My Walmart and Hobby Lobby doesn't have a wide selection of wire ribbon.
Nice to meet you. I really like this idea of ribbons. Darling. I love the color of pink and I love the idea of polka dots. Adorable. I am finally signed onto You Tube. It took me a month to join. It was so confusing.

You do a great job in explaining !!!
If you zip tie the ribbon on to the frame using the middle two bars you wont have an issue on coverage.
I am a beginner and looking forward to trying it.
REALLY NICE

It’s beautiful I love it.
Beautiful. Thank you. Can you do this with non wired ribbon as I am having trouble getting wired ribbon that isn’t too thick where I live in the UK?
Beautiful do it need how many yards of each 🎀 ribbon
Beautiful
Its beautiful btw❤
Very pretty! I am a little confused about threading the pipe cleaners along the back to keep it from flopping, though. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you Susan! 😊 Confused about why I did it or how I did it?
JKatsKreations Wreaths How you did it, please?
Me too. Are you threading it through the zip tie and then onto the next bar?
It’s beautiful!
