People calling Wind outfit copy Yusuke’s just prove they know nothing about the motif behind the outfit themselves, Yusuke is a kitsune while Wind is based on a Miko (Shrine priestess) learn some japanese culture before giving critics people
I think people should think of it as not copies of each other but from the same type of show/theater . And so with the same artist there will be similarities . I think they're based off of theater costumes right? This going off of me not playing it.

Also Miko's mask its based on a Hyottoko mask, a character from japanese teather that rappresent comedy, while as fair i know, kitsune masks are mostly used as decoration and rarely wore irl
Can't help but feel some designs are kinda...uninspired? Like, some oddly don't fit with the motif of *thieves* sometimes, like that literal nurse girl, Phoebe and similar. But may be me just nitpicking. Still really enjoy having more characters focused in a new story rather than the same cast for the 5th time at this point.

p5x's thieves are more themed around their 'ideal selves' rather than their concepts of what a thief is, so what they look like reflects it, ex. minami wants to be a nurse, so she's a nurse as a kaidol, etc.
My only nitpick is that many of the phantom suits are a bit too out there. Show me these designs outside the game, and I would think its just some random fantasy anime game. I kinda miss the og Phantom Thieves more "grounded" and simplistic suits

I still feel like releasing new characters before their own story arcs are available makes people care about them way less, cool as they are. Like we love the original cast because we saw how they struggles and how they overcame their fears, but with these characters...they're just cool-looking, they lack the depth others have...for now. I'm sure they will shine more once story content gets added.

Only real thief is 5 ppl so far, the rest are basically wonder cognition of real life ppl he connected with, created by merope to help in battle. Each of em got social link too irl. Aka the theory they made to justify creating lot of characters for gacha game.

Dude if that's supposed to read Miko then it's not a very good design. Yusuke isn't even based on a kitsune, he's a shrine fox.
