It's common though, this type of video are mostly for people who don't drag. When u shift super fast it can be very easy for the gear to slip somewhere else, there's no shame on it, although the engine suffers a lot, that's why hondas are popular as drag-race vehicles, most of them withstand moneyshifts and the engine and transmission keep rock solid
I feel like all my cars won’t let you shift back into 1. Maybe Honda’s let you and that’s why they made the video?

I made my own "gated" shifter with a piece of aluminum plate back in the day when i was bangin gears in a honda, so money shifts were a lot harder to do.
Cool story bro but you can still mis-shift. They're shifting too fast they can't feel the gear.
@@ewcm1878 i used to build Honda's, engine swaps, raced em on track/street. I can tell you from experience that a physical "gate" plate cut out of aluminum makes it much harder to get your shifts wrong. I have made the same mistake by hitting 1st instead of 3rd. It sucks, but to act like there is literally NOTHING you can do about it is just ignorant.

That's what happens when a dealer on aliexpress claims those gearboxes have 5 gears and you buy them for a surprisingly low price and the other guys buy them too because nobody gave the seller 1star yet and they are all gonna be the first ones to figure out that those 5gears were the same trick that got them back in the 90's when they bought a 10000 game chip for a Sega...
