Ha, I feel you on that reverse wash enamel curing overnight. I was doing the black/gold on the sinanju. I did half and stopped to go to bed, started again next morning and ended up scrubbing the black, gold and the primer off... Had to start all over again... Another lesson learned!
You mean the soft plastic? There isn't any of those in the PGU but I had to deal with some in the original PG RX. Because you can't sand it so what I did was I put a layer of super glue on top then sand the glue flat instead.
To me I prefer fixed pose hands, because moveable hands are just too troublesome to deal with. First they have nubs on every joint of the finger, and sometimes they use a soft plastic and most of the time they can't pull off good poses anyway
Jeeze this was awesome. I'm a miniature guy who's recently gotten in to Gunpla. I just bought a PG Zaku II and this is super helpful. Any idea where I could get the Sayla Mass pilot that comes with this kit without buying this kit?
Thanks, most of the kit is finished but I'm waiting for a friend to release the Origin Ver. Expansion pack at the end of the month so it most likely won't come out till next month
That stopmotion was awesome! Looking good so far
your voice is so calm, pls more voice vid like this !

You could've just painted over it, since it's become so tough it wouldn't come off
Amazing dude!!! Truly inspiring stuff
I'm loving the editing in this video, especially the stop motion! Keep up the great work, this is so inspiring
Appreciated!

What waterslide kit did you use?
Is it:
Gundam UC water slide decal SIMP High Definition PG Unleashed RX-78-2 1/60
Hey Jason! Any advice on painting the ABS frame pieces? I've heard some people have nightmares with adhesion or poor fitting after painting

The fixed hands are a huge deal breaker for me, especially for something hailed to be the best PG kit. You did it some great justice though

Where did you find those photo etched parts? Thanks.
Once built, does it feel sturdy like a toy that can withstand repeat handling, or it's really just a model kit?
This kit does move well after painting, but I'd treat it like a painting, as in not to play with

I don't think it's sold but a lot of people who snap build don't want it I'd imagine
great job bro , I love the colors of the inner frame look so realistic. when will you release the next one?

How do you prepare your parts for painting? Do you have video on that?
Not much, just primer and maybe light sand before?
I kitbashed mine with 6 gatling guns and made him a heavy arms.
Yes that's nuts!
ahhhhh legs!
Bandai put so much emphasis on the legs of this kit!
