I had become so frustrated that I had quit trying all together even stopped praying because I felt so condemned. Honestly being righteous minded focusing on the weight of what was accomplished through Christs sacrifice has given me peace and joy knowing I'm forgiven and dont have to struggle any more. I have a greater appreciation for what Christ did and am more open to his love for me that I've chosen not condemn myself any more but to give myself over to his word and learning to rest in it. We are not going to resist sin every time it comes our way, but we at least have to try. And IF we fail, God will see that and bless us! As long as you’re trying to resist sin, it shows that YOUR spirit is aligned with the HOLY SPIRIT. Think of it this way… It doesn’t make God love me any less, regardless of how much I have sinned or will sin, but why would I want to purposely continue living that way? When I already know what my sins cost Jesus, how could I possibly be proud of that? Beautiful piano music, I definitely want to compliment the playing as unto the Lord! But there is a structure and order for how we use all of our gifts to build up the body. Eating too much is not the only way to become overweight their are medications such as steroids and cancer medications that cause weight gain one medication by name that causes weight gain is Lyrica which is for Fibromyalgia and arthritis. Also if you do not eat enough your body holds onto fat becuase it thinks you are going through a famine... Sometimes it is not the amount of food you eat but what you eat.
We need to realize that we ARE children of Adam and he didn't have children until AFTER his fall. So before our salvation we have Adam's fallen DNA. When we recieve Jesus, we get his DNA :) and become the way we should have been: like Adam before his fall. Now we can walk and talk to God in the cool of the day. Enjoy!

Sin is not good for anybody! It will harden your heart and affect your relationship with God.

Eating too much is not the only way to become overweight their are medications such as steroids and cancer medications that cause weight gain one medication by name that causes weight gain is Lyrica which is for Fibromyalgia and arthritis. Also if you do not eat enough your body holds onto fat becuase it thinks you are going through a famine... Sometimes it is not the amount of food you eat but what you eat.
There could also be a thyroid or metabolism problem.
We need to realize that we ARE children of Adam and he didn't have children until AFTER his fall. So before our salvation we have Adam's fallen DNA. When we recieve Jesus, we get his DNA :) and become the way we should have been: like Adam before his fall. Now we can walk and talk to God in the cool of the day. Enjoy!
