- More Informations about a Chakram:
The chakram (Tamil: chakkaram; Sanskrit: chakram; Punjabi: chakkar; Malay: cakeram) is a throwing tool from the Indian subcontinent. One of its major purpose is also to protect the turban and the head from melee. It is circular with a sharpened outer edge and a diameter of 12-30 centimetres (4.7-11.8 in). It is also known as chalikar[2] meaning "circle", and was sometimes referred to in English writings as a "war-quoit". The Chakram is primarily a throwing tool but can also be used hand-to-hand. A smaller variant called chakri was worn on the wrist. A related weapon is the chakri dong, a bamboo staff with a chakri attached at one end.
Javanese Chakram can take a different form. They have a cross of iron in the center joining to a hole in the center and a shape on the edge. Each tip of the crossed iron had a shape like arrow tip. Between the two iron cross it was carved with a fire ball, and the tip of the fire ball had a smaller arrow tip, so it had 4 larger arrow tips and 4 smaller arrow tips on the blade. Another parts were made from bronze; diameter about 17 cm (6.7 in). It had a small (1⁄2-inch (13 mm) diameter) hole in the centre to rotate the chakram before it launches. Outside this small hole it was carved with an 8 petal lotus in close form and 4 petal lotus outside.
The earliest references to the chakram come from the Indian epics Mahabharata and Ramayana where the Sudarshana Chakra is the tool of the god Vishnu. Contemporaneous Tamil poems from the 2nd century BC record it as thikiri (திகிரி). Chakra-dhāri ("chakram-wielder" or "disc-bearer") is a name for Krishna. The chakram was later used extensively by the Sikhs at least until the days of Ranjit Singh.Even in present days the Nihangs wear chakkar on their damalaas and is also in the uniform of Sikh Regiment worn on turban. It came to be associated with Sikhs because of the Nihang practice of wearing chakram on their arms, around the neck and even tied in tiers on high turbans. The Portuguese chronicler Duarte Barbosa writes (c. 1516) of the chakram being used in the Delhi Sultanate.
Chakram are traditionally made from steel or brass which is beaten into a circular shape against an anvil with an indentation for the curvature. Two ends are connected with a piece of brass and then heated, forming a complete circle before the brass is removed.
The chakram is 0.5-1.0 in (13-25 mm) wide and is typically 5-12 in (130-300 mm) in diameter. The smaller variations are known as chakri while the larger ones are called vada chakra which were as large as a shield.
Modern inventions and applications:
In the 1970s, the American inventor Alan Adler began attempting to improve upon a flying toy disc by considering its design characteristics. He tried streamlining the shape of the disc to reduce drag, but this resulted in a disc that was more unstable in flight. Eventually, inspired by British accounts of deadly Indian weaponry and martial arts, he turned his attention to the ring shape of the chakram. This led to the development of the predecessor of the Aerobie, which was called the "Skyro"

It was a Real weapon used by East Indian warriors called Nihang
Imagine trying to fight someone well they throw Razer Sharp Frizbees at you 😁
Agreed. Sick video Adam
please wear a kunai
Yes indeed 😊
You Sir are the first person to bring any sense into a chakram, I have always found it more of a mythical weapon than a real and effective weapon for war. Now I know different and it looks pretty darn effective. Thank you.
Yeah I did not realize just how fast you can send a ton of them down range.
everybody gangsta til: this guy pulls out his CD.
hahahaha nice one
Bro! That is fucking hilarious. Well said my man.
On god
Imagine trying to rob a store that sells CD's when he's around

Yep, skateboard was amazing

Maybe we should call it a Chakboard?
The throw at 1:09 when it rolls back to you was brilliant.
These look extremely fun. A throwing knife that almost never misses!

今までネタ武器かと思ってたけど意外と精度も威力高くてびっくりした
WTH you re a beast dude . Wow these rings are awesome , you are throwing them like like an artist . im really impressed . I got to buy some of this rings . My favorite throws were the one with all 3together, the candle cut and the apple cutter .You ve got some serious skills bro . I could watch it all day long .Thank you for inspirations .Greetings from Macedonia and Vienna .
👍👍👍👍
He is chakram 😆🥰
And chakram haha
Just found this channel and I’m glad to see that Tron rings exist
Welcome on the channel :)
The way you launch 3 chakram at once is like a hax ability
Man, this is incredible! You could be a superhero with those things.
These are, for some reason, satisfying to watch and so cool at the same time
I've never actually thrown a chakram myself, but I've been a fan of the weapon ever since Xena, lol. As for my favorite trick shot, I'm torn between three. Either the one where you deflected it off of the plank on the ground, the one where you cut the apple in half mid-flight, or the one where you caught the chakram with the throwing knife. Those three looked the hardest since they involve something getting in the way before you hit the target.
I've been in love with chakrams my entire life and are most definitely my favorite weapon.
I loved them all! So sick! I NEED these throwing skills!!!
Now we get to know what we will encounter from a BCE to medieval Indian holy soldier. SKILL MADNESS!
Thank you Adam for being who you are and doing what you do. Every day that I watch your videos is a good day. BTW Xena would be proud. ;)
thank you my friend
Loved all of it. The ring around the knife was phenomenal and the wick cut was FLIPPING AWESOME! LOVE YOUR VIDS!
Thank you so much my friend! i had really lot of work with this one !!!
Gosh I love these types of youtube recommendations that keep me up until 3 am. Awesome trickshots man!!
Thank you Steve, stay for more ,))

The skateboard part cracks me up. Good stuff!
That intro 0:08 where you trow 2 times and then jump casual on a skateboard.. made me LOL
Anything this man throws is just satisfying
Awesome skill displayed, as usual, but I'd like to see more horizontal and finger throws, as they'd be employed that way in India (Punjab mostly). Also, they should have edge all the way around with no blunt spots.
What a wow!? Real life Xena in man version.... you're great
How many times y’all think he missed the tree, chakram went on a journey and he’s just there “well shit”
Maaaany times !!!! :D they bounce a lot
@@AdamCeladin does a chakram have a handle?
He could never miss he is the definition of a man
@@weirdvibes1729 in some designs. Yes.
But traditionally, no.
I can't wait, hopefully you throw it the classic way they used to because it's so cool.
I will try something like that ,))
@@AdamCeladin nice, can't wait. 😁😁😁

What an absolute legend.
Such talent and work and practice put into it.
Thank you Amiel :)
Dude this was friggin awesome!!! I want some now, lol.
i found the sound they make when flying through the air very satisfying!
This is the coolest shit ive seen in a while.
Supremely rad as always!
Thank you bruhdduh
I am from INDIA. Really loved it. It was an ancient INDIAN weapon and you have practice it in usual way. Good one.
@Вхламинго ну может движение реконструкторов не развито. У нас вон оно в спорт превратилось только на рубеже веков, хотя до этого в мире, насколько я знаю, соревнований по боям на средневековом оружии и в доспехе не было. Особенно массовых.
Dam bro....wtf...I've never seen that before....I'm impressed... very impressive...you got some serious skills... keep up the amazing work...
Damn! Gonna have to get me a set of these! These look fun as hell! My son will love this video, great job my ninja friend!
Thank you so much brother, get some they are up for sale now on wulflund.com and say hello from me to your son ,))
That is so cool! I remember using these things in Runescape! I didn't know they were real! They look so sci-fi in real life!
Thank you Alex i love them
This deserves to be on oddly satisfying compilations.
Awesome! I love the chakram! Never thrown any. Don't have any land to practice safely... lol.
Simplemente genial y no se que piensan las personas que le dan 👎 yo con solo ver 3 segundos quedé maravillado
wow!
that's so cool, I would like to practisce that one day, it looks difficult, so, here you have your like!!!!
I think I knew about this weapon from pen and paper RPGs but I'd never seen anyone actually throw one, or throw many!. Very Cool!
Man you really nare a master thrower. I can imagine how this old Indian weapon in the hands of a master could have been a good weapon to discourage, injure or distract the opponents in a real ancient battle.
1 ad on this whole vid, respect my guy
Common way: Never catch a falling knife
Celadin way: Use foot to fling blade up so you can catch
This is awesome to watch and maybe eventually learn. I worry about the tree's health for all the small blade wounds. :(
I'm glad you got a channel to show off the great weaponry and skills! Hope you're doing well health-wise.
Thank you my friend, all trees were dead no worry ,)
Indian Chakras ❤️ Awesome searching for this video
I am loving the sounds those things are making.
"This some anime shit, I gotta tell ya"

Chakrams are great for zombie survival because they can be worn around the neck and head. You can actually take many of these disc shaped weapons with you. And they can be used up close with wrappings for handles. Hands free carry.
Im so glad you survived cancer! Thank God🙌🙏
I'm a thrower also, but your da man, much love brother! 👍
Love that sound!! 🤜🏼🤛🏼
Its SCARY !!!
Waiting for the " Ayiyiiyiiyiiiyiyiyi "
It is very clear on the fourteenth day, higher accuracy, better and stronger throw👍🏼
Can you imagine hundred years ago when there were people who learnt this kind of martial arts since they can walk, trained every day for death or life combat.
Their skills must be on another level.
That one with the knife was impressive! Well done dude.
Thank you so much Eric, that was lucky one, did you noticed that chakram made like flip on the knife ?
@@AdamCeladin welcome. I did.
The title must be "Chakram after effects trick shots". Good work.
Awesome, awesome trick throws brother!!!
😃😎😎👍👍
I am well aware that this must be somewhat similar to knife throwing, but still... You're amazing Adam!
i definitely love compilation. Awesome 😃👍
Thank you my brother :))
💫This was just an awesome video to see the Chakri and Chakram being thrown by you. The styles you used were incredible and the trick shots were fantastic! One thing I love about your videos is the fact your out in nature which makes it even more interesting. I'm a new subscriber and been watching a lot of your past videos and championship wins. But thanks to you I want to take this sport up, you have a natural talent for this sport and your skill is of the very best so hope to learn more from your videos, thanks bro! Much Peace, prosperity and Blessings to You! 😊🙏✌️
Thank you very much for nice comment, welcome in the bladed family ,)
This is awesome I loved Xena as a kid lol
so satisfied watching u threw that chakram..
Excellent tricks. I liked the long distance throws the most. Next time can you show some throws on fruits and vegetables. I want to see some pumpkin or melon get sliced by chakram. 👍
I want to make some penetration video for sure :P i plan to make several videos with Chakram :))
Sheeeeeng! This sound so satisfying ;)
Adam, I just got a set of 3 Chakri for my birthday and they are super awesome my friend! Next on the list is AceJet Stingers or Finn! Keep being badass and finding people to make quality weapons!
This is the best video. Please do more of chakra throwing video
This is dope. Although I am wondering how he doesnt cut the palm of his hand.
Wondered the same thing but then took close look at them each time landed and noticed about 45-60 degrees of the circumference didn't look shiny and sharpened. Then, at about 3:00, you can see the edge of one in his hand transition from beveled and sharp to flat.
It blunt enough to hold but it will cut with friction from the spin 😬
That was pretty impressive. I don't know why anyone would down vote that display. Probably wouldn't do it in front of him 😝
yeah just saw your video popping up and the use of the skateboard plus xena chakrams just made me subscribe
Thank you :))
This is one of the sickest things I've seen all day
I like this one a lot. I really like the chakrams
i love them, thank you
Te has convertido en un maquina como para robarte algo y salir corriendo jajajajajajaja muerte segura.es un ejemplo.eres bueno lanzando los aros.un saludo desde españa.
That sound when you throw it... Just badass
Excellent dude ,hats off to you
I'd like to see you use and throw these using the method shown on pictures of Vishnu, spinning them around the finger and launching them. Skallagrim tried and originally thought it wouldnt work but changed his mind after a few attempts. It would be interesting to see how a throwing expert does.
Vengo de parte de un poco de todo :)
Y si que eres bueno :0
