4.6 at the combine. He’s not a 4.4 guy and never was. He’s legitimately a 4.55-4.60 guy based on my observation of him at BYU. Plenty fast but he’s not going to outrun DBs.
@@aaronsmith2433 Yes, he did which is why I said at this level. He’s not out running DBs at this level. Also, the 4.38 wasn’t laser timed if I remember correctly. The combine result is more reliable and matches my visual observation.
Tyler has speed. I’ve seen him out run defenses. Not only that he has run down players that had a ten yard head start. (He was a linebacker his freshman season in college) Leading his team in tackles. Tyler knows defenders go for his legs. They want no part in hitting him high. That is one of the reasons he tries to straight arm instead of out running in the second level. The NFL backs who try to use speed to outrun end up with high ankle sprains and don’t last long in the league. Bo Jackson is a good example. Adrian Peterson suffered many leg injuries. What’s better than having a back that consistently gives you 5 yards even if the hole isn’t there? Tyler was clocked at 4.3 in the 40. Before the nfl combine he mainly worked on bulking up. If he was trying to be a skinny fast guy. He could do it!
Sound and logical. Good video
Tyler ran a 4.38 40 yrd dash at BYU, he has more speed then you are aware of. Enough to make him a homerun threat of speed on the field.

@@CJay702 he outran BSU's fastest DB and was clocked at a 4.38 at BYU last year or two years ago.
