Very useful, clear and concise video. Thanks. I thought my car was overheating but the fan comes when the temperature of my Corsa hits 100 degrees centigrade.
This video saved my bacon *last* winter. I've just watched it again *this* winter because I couldn't remember how many clicks! 😆 So, thank you... twice! ❄️❄️
Vauxhall reinstated the dedicated temperature gauge and their current vehicle range including the current corsa has one and the astra also got it back. The mk5 astra 2004-2010 had also deleted it and it was back in the mk6. A few other car manufacturers briefly deleted it and reinstated it.
If you use the right stalk (should be the one for the wipers) and there should be a twisting part which will allow you to cycle through the main menu and if you select the fuel range, it should stay on the last selected option.

Glad the video helped again 😅 stay safe out there this winter
You're a blessing, brother ❤

Thanks! I'll be trying this tomorrow on my Opc corsa D.
It's a real stupid design. You need to know if your car is overheating before it goes boom
I agree, terrible design by Vauxhall.
Thank you for uncovering the secret! Hugely informative, worked on my whip ✌🏽
Cheers for the explanation. Very simple to follow. 👍
Great info. I did not know you could do this. Thank you.
Very Informative Bro, thanks for uploading and sharing!
Thank you mate very helpful
How do you set it to permanently show your fuel range like you have?
If you use the right stalk (should be the one for the wipers) and there should be a twisting part which will allow you to cycle through the main menu and if you select the fuel range, it should stay on the last selected option.
@@TaefDewanI don’t think mine lets me twist?
Thanks man
Good car
Dude, can you, please, tell your corsa's engine operating temperature?
it should be 90-110
@@TaefDewanhi so why did urs say 68
@@TaefDewan is the reading between 90 and 110 good? Should not be solid 90?
@@strich765 a good temp is between 90 - 110
@@182non you could tell his car was not used/driven before he showed us this
0:03 what is the 389 reading for?
Thats is approximately how much petrol you have just shown im miles in this case... On my corsa it is shown in km.
Hi what is the top reading of 0.0 for?
I believe that's for your velocity (speed in km )
You just say stuff eh? lol. It's the instrument light brightness level.
bro ; thank you SO much. mine reads either 0.0 or 100.0 , which i guess is for whether it’s day or night? it does change by itself though
what is the other number if one is the engine temperature
Is the number of the light intenseti of the panel
cheers bruv 👍
Thanks
How do you get the fuel range on that menu?
It’s on the normal menu you don’t need the secret one. Should just say miles on it and to just confirm see if it aligns when you top up on fuel
