I propose this story.
This is going to be a little weird.
Itachi Uchiha, instead of finishing his story during the fourth war after Edo Tensei, is reincarnated as Naruto in the past with Itachi Uchiha from the past existing as himself. Naruto/Itachi remembers everything.
Naruto/Itachi has Itachi's memory, but also Naruto's until the battle with Sasuke where Naruto died. Naruto died because Sakura came and got in the way and distracted him. Sasuke managed to kill both of them. So Itachi knows all the things that Sasuke did after he died in their fight and what he did after Kaguya and he's not happy.
Naruto cannot use the abilities that Hagoromo gave in the past/future. Those need to be unlocked again.
Naruto has the mangekyou sharingan which does not get ruined from use because Uzumaki and Kyubi. Naruto being Itachi means he's quite a bit more op than canon Naruto and Itachi. It must be said that Naruto/Itachi is the reincarnation of Ashura. Itachi basically replaced Naruto, but Ashura, Hashirama and Naruto are not the same person or the same soul or Hashirama would never have returned as an edo tensei and the same thing for Madara.
Naruto doesn't know what to do. He would like to help and protect Sasuke, but he knows that the massacre of the Uchiha is inevitable with their behavior and Danzo is untouchable for now. Naruto is a child albeit a powerful one. Naruto can't go to Hiruzen and reveal everything because it's too weird. Furthermore, the Uchihas must die or it would create problems for the village.
When he starts to think he can't do anything he realizes that now he is Naruto. While the other Itachi has to abandon the village after the massacre, Naruto can stay and protect it and try to dissuade Sasuke from taking revenge as Naruto Uzumaki. A strong Naruto who can defend the world from akatsuki's plan. Also being Naruto he shouldn't have fangirls bothering him or that's what he thinks.
The problem is that he didn't foresee Hiruzen and others watching him while he trains and being called to the office. At this point he is forced to show what he can do in the academy and this changes things. He now has fangirls and girls who are really interested in him and two of them are much closer than others. While for the others it makes no sense to create a bond because they are civilian girls who will not become kunoichi, Ino and Hinata are part of clans and Naruto needs support in the future.
Hiruzen and the others discovered Naruto's sharingan after the massacre and thus Naruto became even more important. Not only is he a jinchuriki, but with Sasuke unstable and obsessed with revenge, Naruto becomes even more important to Konoha. The civilians are not very happy, but for the shinobi it is different. Shinobi don't like Sasuke's behavior, so having an alternative is a good thing.
Unfortunately for Naruto it is not possible to dissuade Sasuke. Sasuke has taken him as a rival and every time Sasuke is defeated it makes the situation worse. The other Itachi went too far and Naruto can't reveal things without screwing everything up. Whether he likes it or not, for Naruto it is better for Sasuke to kill Danzo and the other Itachi and take away his problems.
Naruto knows that even if he revealed everything to Sasuke like what happened in the other timeline it wouldn't be easy at all and Itachi messed up Sasuke too much. Please note that this Naruto/Itachi is not like the canon Naruto and has no interest in Sakura and the promise made to her. Furthermore, the relationship between him and the other genin and Konoha in general is better than canon. Spending time with Ino and Hinata he became seriously attached and then started to have feelings for them and therefore cannot risk it for Sasuke.
So he gives up on Sasuke and decides that if he has to he will stop him even if he has to kill him during the war.
This decision leads him to seek advice from Kurama and want to talk to Hagoromo before the war. Hagoromo is intrigued that Naruto knows about him and Kurama and arrives.
Naruto shows them all the events of the future/past timeline. This shows Hagoromo that giving Sasuke power is a mistake and he gives everything to Naruto which makes things a lot easier.

Here is plot-
In wave arc where sasuke take attack of haku and he knows he gonna die so he asked kakashi to transplant his both sharingan to naruto and sakura get heart broken realise that real ninja world as thus leaving her fan girl side there as
after wave arc kakashi explain to 3rd hokage Hiruzen sarutobi as seeing this Hiruzen sarutobi know about Orochimaru plan and also about akatsuki threat so He explain his plan to kakashi to make naruto a new kage level shinobi as naruto have his large and strong chakra alone like hashirama and also he had shadow clone jutsu in which he have unlimited amount of potential as Hiruzen decided to make naruto a strongest hokage who can success him if he die in Orochimaru attack as Hiruzen explain to kakashi to focus on naruto train him in sharingan as he get develop into mangekyo sharingan and all shinobi art including raikiri and chidori as Hiruzen also teach him in elements manipulation so naruto can control all 5 elements like Hiruzen as Hiruzen order his two elders to teach naruto in politics and economic and jiraiya to teach naruto sealing art and sage art .
As naruto after wave arc become cold and ruthless as to his enemy like tobirama as Hiruzen and kakashi both train and discover naruto have strong wind and lighting and water elements and had second strong fire and earth elements and naruto with help of shadow clone as by time chunin exam and Orochimaru invasion started naruto was kage level shinobi and durring time
Hiruzen also discover a political marriage scroll that mention that heir of senju clan and heir of uzumaki clan to be married as that mean tsunade senju who was heir of senju and last senju live as she is left the village because of her brother and family death as from that she was cold to anyone as she also don't get falling in love with anyone as Hiruzen seeing this get idea to helpful revive his sensei senju clan and also uzumaki clan as tsunade senju had quarter of uzumaki blood as she can live up to 200 years as she is still young in uzumaki standard as with this he sign a marriage documents that tsunade senju and naruto uzumaki to be married so they can bring back both senju clan and uzumaki clan sign by him and Daimiyo

Sometimes in life, there’s isn’t always a happy ending plus it was their fault that they could actually treat the boy like a human being instead of a monster. This would never happen or it came out in different outcome.
They did it to themselves and they couldn’t actually open their eyes and realize what they did. None of this happened actually treat a boy like a human being instead like a monster or a thing he wouldn’t went out in a frenzy and they could actually kept the client that they had, why did you think they were all alone but prideful who do you think got them all those contracts with his words and kind heart and his determination?
If they’re willing to sacrifice one boy for the whole world, then they don’t deserve the world. This is a good ending and it’s a good lesson.

I was thinking of the story and I thought of something what if his parents were alive they came back to Mom and their own arrogant mind. Try to get him back..
So he did something while everyone was still bringing the fourth coming back and hearing the stupid villager thing once he’s back in Office, we can finally kill the demon.
Naruto had it they want to kill him so he’ll make them fight themselves with another nation, took the scroll and left to earth country disguising himself so no one can track him.
He went to Earth country. Stan from the ninjas, the villagers, the leader of the village expecting death. They want to kill him want to know the reason why he ran all here with the ceiling. What was his purpose?
He who his father is, he abandoned him every night he cried, begged for the gods to give him family to give him solitude to give him love, but only thing he got was a slap real, knowing that his parents abandoned him and expect him to be all happy and joyful that they return with their children and telling them that the villager expected to kill him still thinking he’s the demon but oh boy they’re all wrong.
After he left, the village went on a frenzy, realizing that he was gone the fourth and his wife was angry after one villager said we can go on a demon hunt and realizing what type of he🏑🏑
Their son into the villagers of their stupidity, the ninjas for not being smarter the clans for not restraining their ninjas, realizing that they messed up and they want to look for him and beg.
But earth country aspect him and treat him like a son and he married a leader the kage countries granddaughter, but there’s another twist turns out with all the nine chakra in the past leaking from Kushina Uzumaki after using it in the second great war, she couldn’t have children and her cousin Tsunade her her DNA so she can have children, but her kids are Uzumaki but Naruto is part uzamaki,senju and 15% namakaze which is a huge blow for the village and for Tsunade that she finally had it, the village took everything and once she gave, they took more so she packed up everything with her assistant and country to be with her son and beg and pleaded for forgiveness. They even know that his real parents were alive!
When he learn Wood style, he turned the land of earth into a Haven. It almost look like the garden of Eden, many fruits, flowers animals they didn’t need help other countries for food or resources.
Which leaves an hour below to the leaf, realizing what they done to a child and someone who could be related to the god of Shinobi was sealed away with the nine tails that didn’t affect him!!
Now that would be a good story plus finding out all these plot twist just because they can be nice to one single child who took the burden of everyone is a low blow even for them and I can’t wait
