Thank god Oakley solved that issue. I had ended up cement gluing some rubber nose pads so my glasses would be centered instead of seeing out the top edge of the lenses. I wondered what took them so long.
Thanks this is a great tutorial Rob. Something I've learnt also is that to remove you push from the 'centre' of the nose pad 'out and down' (down 45 deg) as Rob did . But to reinsert was to again turn them over and line up the pins so they are as close as possible to each others mating face, then push 'up and in' (up 45 degs) but from the absolute BOTTOM edge NOT the centre (again just as Rob did but didn't mention s it was a bit fast). They snapped in with very little force in fact. I have read neg comments that peoples frame pins have sheared so doing this with the most minimal amount of force required is probably a good call. Its possible (tho not saying that was why in all cases) that the pins werent aligned but that the nose pad piece was OVER the frame pins and so snapped them off on the way in using the force required. Anyway do all this gently and you should be OK. What worries me is that the acetate material will get brittle over time but only time will tell on that ! Good luck all
FYI be careful when removing them. I have broken the tab on one side of the nose pad on 2 different pairs of glasses. It still works because of one side snapping in still as well as the middle top tab still working but the broken side wont snap in solid anymore.
I’m having a really hard time changing my nose pads. I do exactly what the video tells me to do but it just won’t come out. I’m afraid I might snap my glasses in half if I push any hard than I do when I try.
one question from germany to you. Does it work well, is the nosepad proofed by customers? normally oakley throws something on the market, which doesnt work well, like the crosslink temples, at the first year the unobtanium fell of the temples and after that oakley has solved the problem. Im wearing a crosslink switch and like to buy the normal crosslink, but i will buy the old one, if the new nosepads fell off always by wearing it. I need them by sport its the only modell which works for me well
Hello, this is a brand new model so we don;t have nay customer feedback yet. We have played with them here at our office and we think they will be very durable, bit have not been able to do any long term testing. They will come with a 1 year warranty however.
I just got these and the frame is too thick or something. It looks like I'm blacking out because the thick black plastic around the lenses is way too prominent in my vision. Is this something I will get Used to or do I need a different type of glasses??
That sounds like something you should be able to get used to. Plastic frames tend to be more obvious in your peripheral vision, but your eyes (brain) will start ignoring that the more you wear them. If you got them from us and you can't get used to them, don't forget that we have the best return/exchange policy in the industry! Just give us a call and we'll help! 888-831-5817
Hi chaps brilliant demo just got myself 2 pairs and dudes they are perfect 👌.. on a note how do I get one of you cap 🧢 especially the black/ with the white box label in the middle truck style one love it 👌cheers Lee
Hi Lee! Thanks for sharing! We are working to have product up on our site soon but in the meantime you can always reach out to info@sportrx.com to see how you can get some!
If you are having issues with fogging, you can contact one of our certified opticians for a solution: www.sportrx.com/contact Also, we recommend using lens cleaner and a microfiber cloth to clean the lenses. If this is what you are currently using, give us a call and we will see how we can help!
Does anyone know where I can find universal nose clips for regualar platic frames? I keep buying the rubber stick on pads but sweat and oils just make them useless.
Not sure about that one Julian. One thing we can help with is finding a frame with a suitable nosepiece or bridge that doesn't require an additional clip-on accessory. Give us a call to speak with an optician! 🤙 877.289.2999 info@sportrx.com
That is a great question! You should receive four nose pads total, with one being mounted in the frame already. It is possible to order more, but parts can be tough to come by with Oakley.
I "think" I spotted them on a model y'day while at Lescrafters, not really knowing or _SURE_ this is what I saw, *BUT...* *1* There are sharp edges on them as you run your finger over them...not _smoooooth_ at all like s/thing that's built into the actual frame. *2* It's clearly a separate piece, & takes away from the overall look of the frame. Now, maybe on a black/dark frame it's not as noticeable, but on the CLEAR frames, it really stands out and cheapens the look IMO. *3* You WILL get dirt/grime/etc lodged in there over time with wear, & the glasses will look as grungy as standard nose pads pads do that have to be swapped out every so often. Also, I can imagine if & when you're wanting to replace them at point in time, Oakley will want to OVERcharge you for them, AND trying to indicate just which of the 4 sizes you're needing might be a "trick". But on a different note... The *"O"* logo/icon that's found on a number of frames...it's noted on their site that they're INTERCHANGEABLE, yet nowhere on the site are they offered for sale
We have come across some that are pretty well clipped in and take more force than seems necessary. They are pretty durable! Try giving it more force. If you got them from us, we can send you a label to get them back and check them out.
SportRx also I barely got my glasses 3 days ago and there was a rake that was standing up, it started to tip over then the end of the rake hit my glasses and scratched it :((
Are you trying to remove the logo from the frame or from the lens? If it is the lens, it is only the demo lens that has the logo on it. When you put prescription lenses into the frame, there will not be that logo on the lens.
Hi Jason thanks for watching the video and leaving us a comment! The frame in the video is the Crosslink MNP 53 eyesize in the Satin Grey Smoke frame. Please click the like below if you would like to check them out on the website. www.sportrx.com/oakley-crosslink-mnp-53-eyesize.html?configuration-view=true
I would not have succeeded with this without this video. I like these glasses but this is a very poorly designed module. It would be very easy to break these trying to change this. Horrible engineering
Thank god Oakley solved that issue. I had ended up cement gluing some rubber nose pads so my glasses would be centered instead of seeing out the top edge of the lenses. I wondered what took them so long.

Glad to hear it Jeff!
Awesome explanation on my nose pads. You’ve just got to know the right trick 👍👍
FYI be careful when removing them. I have broken the tab on one side of the nose pad on 2 different pairs of glasses. It still works because of one side snapping in still as well as the middle top tab still working but the broken side wont snap in solid anymore.
Thanks for sharing your experience with us!

Thank you, Sir! You are the best!
Oh mannn this is what I'm stucking with for 20 min :D
I'm having a difficult time in putting them in. I use a lot of force trying to put them back in. Please respond ASAP
They do need to be seated correctly, but it is likely that they just need more force than what seems necessary. Just keep pushing!
Are the extra nose pads sold separately? How many nose pads do I get with my frame?
That is a great question! You should receive four nose pads total, with one being mounted in the frame already. It is possible to order more, but parts can be tough to come by with Oakley.
Awesome! I just got the nosepieces replaced for my new pair.
Nice! Thanks for checking out our video!

Really helps
Awesome Rob! Thank you for the demo. Could you guys do a segment on the Oakley crosslink fit frames?? Cheers!
Hello Mike! Glad we could help! We will take that into consideration for future videos!
New nose fit yah! Celebration calls for nose hair trimming.
It is a beautiful day for a nose hair trim! Always nice to hear from you Tubesockets120v :)
Would those nose pads fit on oakley crossrange glasses?
Hi Kissa!Unfortunately they do not fit on the Crossrange. Thanks for reaching out!
i got one few days ago then have no idea of how to remove logo on frame. is it possible to remove it?
Are you trying to remove the logo from the frame or from the lens? If it is the lens, it is only the demo lens that has the logo on it. When you put prescription lenses into the frame, there will not be that logo on the lens.
Useful it worked tqq 👍🙂
I keep having to refer to this.
That's why we made it! 🧐
Omg thank you so much!
Thank you for watching and commenting :) We are happy to hear the video helped!
Background music on this video?
Hi! Not sure tbh as this is an older video.
Really easy. Done!
It IS that easy! Thanks for watching!
What color is the frame in video?
Hi Jason thanks for watching the video and leaving us a comment! The frame in the video is the Crosslink MNP 53 eyesize in the Satin Grey Smoke frame. Please click the like below if you would like to check them out on the website.

SportRx thanks for the reply back I ordered them last Saturday was hoping this was what they looked like..
What does map mean?
Do you mean MNP? Stands for Multiple Nose Pads 👍
You guys should scale this to other countries..
