A jota dance (1)

The group "La Calandria" played, sang and danced for the people of Torre del Compte on Saturday 20 August 2011 as part of the celebrations for the fiesta. This performance includes dancing while playing castanets and group singing.

Ardelia Durano Yeah it reminded me of Filipino music I heard + the tinikling dancing. At first when I heard the Filipino music “influenced by the Spanish” it didn’t sound Spanish to me, it sounded Italian or Slavic or something but I guess it really is Spanish haha. It’s weird though because this doesn’t sound like Latin Americans music at all which is interesting lol.
