John, that intro was over the top man…great stuff! Still dissecting what was going on…something modal, different..kept resolving on the 9th or something…anywho, your interval choice, not to mention everything else was so good. Thanks for taking the time to upload these!

Brilliant playing up front as usual! I really appreciate your adding more string skipping to your playing. I was hoping to see more of that from your already beautiful style. Cheers!
Plini helix for clean. With less input gain I was able to keep it clean in our PA and it was heard the whole time and never louder than any other instrument so it was finally really nice to balance everyone out properly
John, thanks SO much for your patches.... I play the Chapman Stick, and am finding SO MUCH goodness within these patches! Eric Johnson, Jeff Beck, Guthrie Govan, etc. Bass side, im modeling SVT w/ compression some eq, phase, chorus, octave.... thanks mate!
I've just finally purchased a Helix and came across this video. I'm in for bundles. Your EJ and AT presets alone will be worth the price of the Helix if I can make them work for me.
Such nice tones! The end of the solo reminder me of Guthrie Govan’s Waves. Saving up for the helix atm and definitely keeping this video in mind for some power presets
Mornin!!! It would be really cool to see you take your favorite modeling patches and build the same sound with traditional pedals and compare everything from costs to sound, to convenience. Btw, I heard that Guthrie lick, love it.
I don't see any of these in either the JC Leads patches nor the JC EXP Patches folders. Is there another folder that I don't seem to have access to or is it deep within a subfolder?
Hey John! I have your folders downloaded to my computer and love your tones and content! I am able to access your Drive folders online but I am not seeing the Chase Bliss preset and would love to dive into it. Thanks!
John , first of all thanx for a great channel ! I've bought access to the JC Lead patches and Exp patches bought I don't seem to find the presets you talk about in this video such as 80s rhythm etc Did I mess up and didn't get access to the right patches? Please enlighten me? Cheers
Mate, considering the last set of presets I went to buy, the guy wanted $50 usd for one type (like 5 worship presets or 5 ac30 presets) I consider these and absolute bargain at like $6usd. Cheers 😉
John, seems like you build these presets with a single coil guitar much of the time. How would you use these presets with different guitars like your Les Paul, or the Larry Carlton HB, and the Yamaha Revstar with P90s. That is, how do you tweak each preset to accommodate the different pickup styles on various guitars? I mainly play a Strat, but I was thinking of adding another EQ block either at the beginning or after the amp to change the tone a bit to handle other tones from different PUPs rather than altering the amp block settings too much. What is best?
i just payd for the general and exp patches. I cant find the 80s presets and the Andy Timmons one and i didnt even started to search for the rest in this video....
I just bought your patches ....I am a minimalist and just need a really good fender clean and a Marshallish distortion with a lead boost which ones do you recommend to many options for me :)
Andy Tim Alt is, IMO, your best in terms of both tone and feel. I almost always delete the drive blocks when I use your presets since I use my own drives, but that one is too good.
@@DanFallonMusic probably the “general patches for Helix or HX Stomp”. Unless you have a Pod Go, then obviously get the ones for the Pod Go. If you want his pads or expression pedals you can always grab them later.
What are the expression presets vs just the $3 patches? I just got the patches only and didn’t realize you also had this bundle! Can I do a refund and buy the full bundle?
Gum road. I bought it a few days ago, well worth it, ridiculously good value. I was gonna sell the helix until I tried these. If you’re a fan of johns tone you really should spend the £6 and get this file.
Yes for sure!! This makes me want to get a helix tomorrow, even though I’ll never probably be able to play with such incredible phrasing and speed like he does.
If we're being perfectly honest, I haven't touched my Helix since discovering Neural DSP integrated with Ableton. It sounds way better and its less of a hassle. Only drawback is all the CPU those plugins take... other than that? I mean, I've been playing my helix all day, TRYING to get into it, and it just doesn't sound as good as those plugins and ableton can handle pretty much any effect I would need.. I was actually kinda bummed discovering how obsolete my helix had become.

Oh yes I agree man, what an awesome solo! And the tone is incredible!
John, I've learned a lot watching your videos and finally got some of your presets. Just want to say thank you.!
Oh Joel! |Very kind, I hope you find some tones you dig!!
Nice waves reference in that first jam!
It was a little faster than I was expecting ha!

Thanks - very useful!!
Intro was amazing on this! Eric Lead Gary is a great one. I think I watched that one half a dozen times just to hear the playing.
That is amazing playing and sound. You are getting better and better......Great stuff 👍
Love the intro piece John!

Timestamps bro, that would make this channel even more helpful than it already is. Blessings!
Insane intro jam this time around!!
I've just finally purchased a Helix and came across this video. I'm in for bundles. Your EJ and AT presets alone will be worth the price of the Helix if I can make them work for me.
This intro song is insane!! Need a full track 😂

Those Camino lead tones are a must need

Nice changes dude 👍

ditto!
Yess I don't see it too

Killer intro jam!!
Hello! I bought your presets but I cant put a volume block in some of them, any idea on why? I need the volume pedal for live situations.
Hey John! I have your folders downloaded to my computer and love your tones and content! I am able to access your Drive folders online but I am not seeing the Chase Bliss preset and would love to dive into it. Thanks!
Did i hear a bit of Govan's "Waves" in there?
very helpful,,thanks John
I can’t find this greatest hit pack on your website. Is it still available for purchase?
Could you do a similar video listing your top 10 for HX Stomp?
If you own a Helix, these presets are worth their weight in gold, and more.
I bought the preset pack the other day. How do I get the snapshots? Thanks

They're in the JC lead folder, and within that is a "Greatest Shits" folder which you should find them in
I cant get mine to work with the daw, Its recording at -30db and under through usb. How doI get more signal when using it as an interface?
❤hello guys, sorry for asking. Where or how can i download these presets?
Intro piece was awesome, and that little music quote. Ive bought JC lead patches recently, which one i need to buy to get those patches?
great vid. great playing
What is that lead tone called at the 35sec mark, I already purchased your folder with tons of tones lol

Hello John. Will your 10 best tones work well direct ? You said they “were under whelming through an amp.”
I want to acquire these presets that are in this video, how do I do it and what are they so I can have them and how or where do I make the deposit?

Great intro man!
I purchase but don’t see this in my folder
When playing live do you go out in mono or stereo?
dang - killer player here - who is this guy?
So I purchased access to the folder a while back. How do I get back to it?
When these presets will be available in your preset folders? I still cannot see most of them.

What bundle is this in I like that one which bundle do I need to purchase?
Today make a special space for all these amazing presets😊
sounds fantastic. Nevertheless, Ill buy the Fractal FM3 or 9
Damned nice my friend
Amazing- I’m a noob- can someone please tell me where I go to get these exact presets? Is it the paypal link?
Link in description. You apayPal him and then he emails you access to a Dropbox folder with his presets 👍

Yes for sure!! This makes me want to get a helix tomorrow, even though I’ll never probably be able to play with such incredible phrasing and speed like he does.
I'm confused 😕 you're in preset mode yet you have like 5 buttons that are lit up?
I'm in Snapshot/Stomp mode generally?
