Very kind of you to say so. I try to improve something each time and I think as this series goes on you’ll see little improvements with each video too. Thanks for watching and commenting.
5:02 I only upgraded the Assault Enforcers leaders with the pistol and gauntlet, the reason I didn't for the Enforcer Ops leaders was because I wanted them to be the all shooting squads cuz I will never use them in close combat. Plus am painting the leaders black with red shoulder pads, the normal troops are just all black. Making them to resemble the Advent from Xcom 2
1:31 I bought two of this starter sets, and I been reading the Enforcers datasheets. Am gonna make 4man Peacekeeper squad, and a 4man Peacekeeper Defenders squad (the ones with shields), and a Peacekeeper Captain with the last Peacekeeper with him
Not gonna lie am a big Warhammer 40k fan, but Firefight has catch my eye. It looks interesting, especially the Enforcers. They look cool, they remind me of Mass Effect or Halo or Starcraft soldiers
Really nice introduction and also really nice to get the building guidance. Even if someone wasn't building to play Firefight they could find it helpful for something like Deadzone.
Nice video mate, I like the box to board idea. Wish I'd seen something like this years ago when I got the first ed deadzone box and clipped off all the enforcer parts from the sprue before trying to build them
Just a tip for new builders. While super glue is really all you need for building plastic miniatures, and I recommend it over "plastic glue" for beginners, plastic glue can provide an incredibly secure bond between parts because it literally melts the plastic slightly and after it cures it's an all but unbreakable bond. That said, it's very easy to lose control of it and ruin model detail so again, I recommend building your miniatures with model-appropriate super glue.
I just picked up this set. When I try to build this same force using the rule book, every unit is higher priced. Your total force is listed at 820 but when I build the same force, it costs 960.
@@BlackJackLegacy I figured, but some of the other units you can make just from use the one's from this box like the Peacekeeper Defenders and the Enforcer Defenders (I don't remember what that unit was called exactly) all you need is just the shields that come with the spurs
@@mordredpendragon1235 yeah true but I’d still need to buy more models and I don’t have them. I needed to build the starter set into a usable force first.
Great video. I am on the Deadzone of things but either way, very helpful. Out of serious interest, where did you get your hoodie printed as I'm looking for a garment printer that includes sleeve printing. Thanks again for great content :)
Great job! This is how those things should be presented! Best tutorial out there! BTW I am not sure if it is legal to give special weapon to command models.
Thanks for the very kind words on the video. It’s not command models that are getting the special weapon here though - it’s leader models in a unit and when the stat doesn’t specifically say Leader (like the JetBikes) I couldn’t find anything that stopped you. Happy to be shown it’s wrong though.
@@BlackJackLegacy I didn't find anything about that either, that and both of the Peacekeeper squads they don't specifically have a leader it just says 2 Peacekeepers or 2 Peacekeeper Defenders. So I really don't think it matters to much
These box sets all look very good and very reasonably priced. I noticed in the video the bases look like flat discs. Will that make them hard to magnetize? Will you be doing a video showing the best way to do that?
The 25mm bases have a hollow on the base you can add a magnet however the MDF ones will be more difficult. I won’t be doing a video on magnetising bases - sorry.
4:40 Since I bought two of this boxes. Am gonna make 3 7man Assault Enforcers squads and 2 7man Enforcer Ops squads. Am still deciding if I should make the last 3 Enforcers as the Sergeant, Captain, or Forward Ops (there all command units)
They’re not that bad but are really accentuated when you zoom in for photos. The MDF bases aren’t ideal but as you’ll see in later painting videos once they’re based they look fine.
Which arm did you use for the PK burst laser that holds the barrel end of the weapon. mantic model quality for me is atrocious, as is the lack of instructions. There is no arm that is obviously a heavy weapon holding arm that I can see.
@@BlackJackLegacy also, any deadzone content would be cool. I really like this universe and could watch content on it all day. I'm focussed mainly on deadzone (for now) and I know a lot of people in my area are like-minded
I want to love Mantic, I want to love Kings of War, I want to love deadzone and firefight.. I want to I want to I want to but I don't, I don't love their worlds, I don't love their models.. the rules are decent though.. it's like 25 year old plastic Games Workshop kits which is a shame considering a 3d printer or pre-made 3d printed models will easily put their sculpts to shame cheaply. I'm living solidly in the 2nd decade of the 21st century and Mantic has barely got out of the nineties.. bad business move, so much potential.
One of the better produced videos I have seen in a while. Snappy, clear and concise, framing and assistive graphics seemed to fit very well.
Very kind of you to say so. I try to improve something each time and I think as this series goes on you’ll see little improvements with each video too. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Great touch showing players what page these units where in the rule book. Excited for Marauders!
Thanks. I’m trying to think of all the things that would help me. I’m sure I’ll miss bits but hopefully I’ll cover most important bits.
I'm a bit late to the party but this has been very handy to let me know what I'm dealing with in the starter set. Very informative. Cheers.
Fantastic video, so enjoyable after work to press play and assemble my Firefight demo armies. Your support and content is highly appreciated.

Great video. Easy to follow and informative.
Thanks mate. Kind of you to say so.
Love this guide. Clear and concise with plenty of advice and support and exactly the step by step instructions you need.
Really glad you find it helpful.
This was super helpful. Thanks!
You’re very welcome.
Well done, sir! This video will be super handy when I get my starter box home soon.
Glad to help.

Fantastic breakdown!
Thank you!

Thanks. Yeah it’s helpful for anyone building Enforcers no matter what game they’re playing.
Great series idea, very helpful and informative!
Thank you
Excellent format mate. Love the scope of it.
Keep up the good work 💪🏻
Thanks mate. Really appreciate your kind words and good to hear from you too. Hope you’re doing well.

Makes two of us! I’ve got random Enforcer bits in bags somewhere 😂

Love it bro 😎 appreciate
Thanks so much buddy.

I think since I made this video the points have been rebalanced so there may well be some changes.
Great video very informative thanks
Thanks!
Hey you should show I to make the other units that the Enforcers have
I’ve just shown these are they’re in the starter set and I don’t have any others yet.

Good first video
Thanks - next one on Wednesday.
I built the same list, except for the peacekeepers.
Awesome minis.
What are the tiny little spiky bits on the enforcers sprues btw ?
This a great video for a video series.
Those mould lines on the weapons look pretty bad. Were they hard to clean up? Also MDF bases are horrible.
They’re not that bad but are really accentuated when you zoom in for photos. The MDF bases aren’t ideal but as you’ll see in later painting videos once they’re based they look fine.
Could you tell me the email for the painting comp for this month pls. I understand if I'm late.

Do you have one of these planned for deadzone?
I’d like to do one but my Deadzone box is already built and painted. If enough folks want it (which it sound like they do) I’ll happily do one.
@@BlackJackLegacy also, any deadzone content would be cool. I really like this universe and could watch content on it all day. I'm focussed mainly on deadzone (for now) and I know a lot of people in my area are like-minded
