My leopard is more overstable than my teebirds
I have three that are all like this, so I bought a champ Hawkeye and it flies amaaaazing. Just how I wanted the leopard to fly. It will flip to flat and turn a little before gently fading. The TL3 is similar, but more of a flip to straight for me.
I have an orange star leopard that is way more overstable than my glow leopard 3 that i actually bag. Same weights
I’m glad you made this video. I always heard how understable leopards were. I got a champ leopard that is very overstable and once it loses speed it just dives to the ground.
I have a star leopard that wicked stable too.
I get a different play off my leopard champ plastic slower arm speed I never see turn over on mine strait then a strong turn last 50 ft of 200 flight.
I have one of those too!
time to try the Stig and let us know how they compare
Where do you store your disks?
RIP
That yellow star one flies like my ohn scoggins halo leopard 3. really good flight. Also had a halo sidewinder that flew super stable and would tell everyone how noodle arm I am before I throw it and it not turn at all lol.
Stable sidewinders are money, they go far!
Flippy sidewinders rock too.
Really, it's about the only driver mold I need.
Can usually finesse my stable SWs into headwinds.
every premium leopard ive had is kinda stable. ive never used it a flip up and turn disc its more of a straight disc.they hold anny but don't really hyper flip.
I have a yellow Star Leopard that looks exactly like that and it's an absolute meat hook. Granted, I don't throw with your power, but this one Leopard is so much beefier than any Leopard I have ever thrown. Maybe there was a run at some point that is different than the rest.
Same. Had a yellow star Leo that was as stable as a star teebird.
From 2019 or 2020, perhaps?
@@SmarteeSteve that is possible. I have had it maybe 18 months but bought it at our local course's lost and found.
That’s Innova for ya. Like Dave has said in interviews, “Innova numbers don’t matter. Dont go by the numbers.” Lmao. This is why I find Innovaz that fly right. To me you use Champ it’s always going to be more stable. Star leopard is the one now if you find the right Gstar Leopard3 that’s the secret sauce 170-175. Money.
To me it’s not as stable as your claiming the looked pretty neutral. Tbirds and Thunderbirds have a lot more fade imo.
By the way that star is an OOP PFN Leopard so it could be more stable whenever that run was. A lot of stars I’ve thrown all were perfectly understable to regular stable but never ever OS.
Get some lighter weight star leopard3s. I have a 171 and it’s a perfect drifter
All of the PLF Leopards I have ever seen were like that. Some of the newer ones in premium plastic are still like that. They are really similar to Teebirds.
I've been going through the same thing!!! I've taken my leopard out of the bag because it's more stable than my teebird. I'm using a TL3 for all my leopard shots
Your new leopards are the reason i stay away from the leopard all together. You never know when you get a beef leopard! They might as well be a teebird or eagle.
Lol. Recently I bought some dx leopards that are pretty dang stable
They go far, but don't do what i bought them for
When you find new leopards that do what they’re suppose to, try an Axiom Rhythm for comparison 😁 I would personally like to see that.
Yup. I only throw Leos in dx
Had a Leo and Leo 3 in star, and the were beefcakes. The 3, slightly less so.
When I needed to rip one and not turn it over, I grabbed my leopard. Distance was fairly poor as well, but there were occasions for the flight it provided.
Once I lost it though, good riddance!
Dont think Innova or really Dunipace cares about making a good, sustainable product anymore, just about making money imo.
Those leopards that exploded must have been left in a car for a couple years or something. I've never seen a premium plastic do that that wasn't severely dried out.
I’ve had a few newer leopard3’s like that, surprisingly stable
The yellow one in Star plastic appears to be less stable than the blue one in Champion plastic. Makes me wonder if that blue one is a "stabilized" version of the mold. Innova sometimes makes a variation of a mold that's more stable than normal. They did that with a Mamba run in Champion plastic that's been sold out for months, and currently have a Starfire on their pro shop right now that claims to be "stabilized." Which would be something for a Starfire since they're already pretty stable.
I have a 167g star leopard that flies exactly like a leopard should (with my arm speed).
I have a super stable, super domey, Echo star leopard. I don’t even throw it bc it’s so weird.
I want it👀
@@IceBergTVwhere can I send you some pictures of this thing? It’s pretty cool.
@@bradyanderson7686 instagram iceberg.dylan
can you try and find an understable leopard..i havent tried gstar. maybe lighter weights
So I’m not the only one 😅 factory dyed champion leopard definitely like my thunderbird
I have a domie leopard that looks like the dyed champ one I would trade it’s more on the overstable side
I have two overstable leopards myself. They dont fly to their numbers
I've looked at a surprising number of leopard or leopard numbered discs that had a higher parting line height than their teebird counterparts. Even nice and seasoned out of the used bin they wouldn't have the flip you were expecting.
Dark rebel (OG FD)or nothing for this slot in my bag
Centurions are old Leopard molds and fly amaaaaazing
Who makes those?

Love your videos bro, let me edit for you!
So cool man
When I started playing I remember reading that the leopard was great for beginners. I bought 3-5 of them in my first year. lighter weights, different plastics, different colors...they all flew like Teebirds/Thunderbirds LOL
Your Leopards explode?!?! That's kind of cool. Mine just all ran away and never came back.
I have an OS Leopard like that, it's even very beat in and old, found it on the course with multiple names and phone numbers but other than 1 number they aren't in use anymore. The 1 number hasn't owned it for over 7 years.
I have two champ leopards… both were fairly overstable…. Then one day poof…. One decided it wanted to be an actual leopard…. 😂
same thing here... star leopard... its confusing to me to the point where i dont use it cause im afraid it'll act like its numbers randomly
I've got a leopard like that! But only one, my others fly like a leopard should 😂
I just got a new stock star wraith to cycle a seasoned one and it’s more overstable than any star destroyer I’ve ever thrown.
That's that flight I look for out of an FD. That looks like its going to get more and more glide as it seasons.
I had a Valkyrie that was the same flight as my thunderbird
"Minding my own business" = guilty
😂
Bluey/Greeny flies like a Destroyer 😂
Leopards on 300’ holes? Discs are different run to run. I have a mvp vanish that’s more OS than my Grace.
Putters 250-300’
Mids 275-350’
Fairway 325-400’
🙄
Does the yellow one have a concave beveled edge? It’s hard to tell from the video but I believe leopards are V tech rims… convex….
Leos are flat or slightly convex on rim.
Inner edge of rim is very slightly steeper than the rest of it
