Hey man love the videos. Didn't know if you did individual video analysis or critique. Have been taking videos of my 12 year hitting off the tee, would love some feedback

If your back arm is fully extended at contact on every fastball how do you adjust when you're early on a change up? If your back arm is bent during the forward swing you can adjust to an off speed pitch by extending the back arm or bending the front arm. If you're automatically extended every pitch there's no way to adjust cuz you're already committed.

That swing at 5:40 looks nothing like Griffey, Trout, Ruth and the other best of the best.
If you're going to instruct others you should watch more video of only the very best of the best. Watch what Griffey did at the start of the forward swing up to contact. Watch where his arms are and the positions. Front arm straight and tight to his chest, back arm bent at 90 degrees and tight to his side. Very, very powerful. Trout is great but Griffey and Ruth are the very best examples, teach those guys' mechanics, don't bother with anyone else.

Full arm extension makes a big difference when hitting for power. You can have the quickest bat speed in the world but if you are not getting full extension at contact you are cheating yourself. While you can achieve solid contact and power being late to the ball the window is short and if your timing is off you'll get completely jammed.

If you look at Griffey, Ruth, Trout and others, you'll see that just prior to contact and at contact their back arms are bent at 90 degrees and tight to their sides.
