  • Let’s go to my new favorite beach in Fuerteventura! If you have heard about Cofete - this beach is even better! It is called Roque del Morro. It is very close to Cofete but it is not as popular. So you can enjoy this beach to yourself!
    If you have watched my videos you know that I love wild and remote, sandy paradise beaches, and natural pools. Let me show you another hidden gem in Fuerteventura and share my ultimate beach experience.
    Roque del Morro is the perfect place for exploring, taking photos, bodysurfing waves, and enjoying breathtaking views!

    Hi Stancy I'm ew to your channel well a few months now. Thank you for posting your videos... inspirational, exciting and really help me think about 'me' snd my health wellbeing. I'm a creative person I'm a teacher of art craft and design to just over 400 pupils per week in a school 11 years to 16 years. Its rewarding but consuming. Time for me to reflect on me is what you have taught me so thank you. Fueterventura is my place of love and we are coming back this Christmas 🎄 😊 kirsty

    Hi Stancy, I am new to your channel and I am loving it SO much!!! I feel immersed in the landscapes you capture, I am tantalised by the way you describe the "living being" that is Fuerteventura island and feel your eyes full of love and joy. I have been to Fuerteventura 3 times but I was very small and cannot remember much so I am definitely planning to come back sooner or later. I found your channel 3 days ago and cannot stop watching your videos!! Keep up the hard work, you're doing absolutely AMAZING!

    How much do you think exposing this places contributes to its destruction?

    • @StancyNova
      @StancyNova  4 місяці тому

      It depends on who do we “expose” this place to. My channel is the place for creative people and explorers at heart, not tourists looking for beach bars and sun loungers next to the water. And with my videos I hope to attract more explorers and wild adventure lovers, those who are ready to put the effort in discovering the beaches and other natural elements. My videos are a small contribution towards the change of the course of tourism towards the wild adventures, instead of all-inclusive beach resorts and many tourist traps surrounding such locations. It is also important to consider that most of the wild and beautiful locations are going to get discovered sooner or later. The difference is that some places (just like Costa Calma or Caleta de Fuste) are discovered by tourists focused on consumerism, hence the overwhelming amount of hotels and shops there, and other locations, just like the beach in this video are discovered by explorers, so they can be protected from building hotels next to it. I appreciate that you care about preserving the beauty of this island. One of the ways to do that is recognising that the growth of tourism is unstoppable. And instead of resisting it, we can all work towards developing it in the conscious direction. Thank you for your comment!

      @@StancyNova thats very naive of you. The more exposure, more people will be drawn to this. places. Either with a respectful mindset and not that respectful. Both cases will cause destruction, numbers are numbers, and its not the same 10 nature-loving hikers to 10.000 nature lovers hikers. Not only that, but any one with 2 working brain cells will end up opening a bar, an airbnb and schedule busses to visit whatever place has more views and likes online.

      @@raycoferrer and thanks again for your comment! You gave me a great idea for a video about Fuerteventura tourism because apparently I have loads to say on this! And I am always happy to read about people's opinions, even if they disagree with me

      @@StancyNova Glad you take this onboard. I truly wish I am wrong, but history has shown that it will happen. If look at places that were discovered by adventurers and nature loving travelers, they end up being destroyed, changed, lost for ever... all of them. From Tenerife to Bali, from Santoriny to Ibiza. I know its hard to keep a secret, but you can try. Best!
