Assembly Evolution - 401x - University of Guelph - Smart Start

The A.L.I. Project integrates automation and machine vision into high school curricula, focusing on practical skills in programming, robotics, and 3D printing. Through its SmartStart program, students begin with assembling pre-designed parts, gradually moving to create their own designs using Onshape, a free CAD tool. This approach builds confidence and foundational knowledge, preparing a new generation for the digital and automated workforce. By promoting hands-on learning and critical thinking, the project aims to keep Canada competitive and maintain its high living standards.
