A few years ago I shot over 2000 rounds through mine in a short few months before I had to sell it due to life events. 200+ rounds of that was steel case and I never once had a jam or malfunction. I’m buying another one.
Fired about 3,000 rounds through mine, 1000ish steel case. Minimal cleaning never had it jam once, it may be budget but still a quality product.
Enemy won't know the difference getting shot by the Del Ton or the more expensive Ar-15 brands....
People just like to be wrongfully classist when it Comes to weapons. As if it's them buying the damned thing
The guns is crazy light- that light of a barrel and accuracy is awesome.

Pretty cool video! I have a Del-Ton 316 Sierra that I got years ago and it’s still kickin. It has been an outstanding budget rifle.

Got a Sierra 316 a few year's back and its been a great gun. Bulletproof!
some 316L variants come with mid length gas system apparently, but hey I think it would be cool to do a "best budget rifle" list comparing all the $399 rifles it would be awesome. Honestly I think more people buy these than higher end rifles. between Radical, PSA, Delton, Andro Corp, Anderson and whoever else it's real close and would make a good video.
When I was in school , I had a teacher that had mad a batch of ARs as a machinist . They were perfectly made, so perfect in fact that they seized after a few rounds from fouling.

Picked up a Sierra 316L for black pre black Friday 399 at the local Sportsman's and going to compare it to my AR556 at more than twice the price at the gun range tomorrow (black Friday 2023). Slapping on a cheap Romeo and Juliet RDO/magnifier combo that was on sale as well and we'll see how she flys. Should hit the broadside of a barn. Cheap Frontier 223 55gr as well at .45/round. Gonna blow a few hundred. Cheap thrills. I also got a new iPhone SE 3 for 49 bucks and love it. Think paying 800 to 1500 for a phone is nuts. Del-Ton website says 1X7 twist, Sportsman's sez 1x9 and has been know to be wrong on occasion. Will call Del-Ton with the serial number.

I just bought on on Sportsman’s Warehouse for $349 after getting $50 for applying for their credit card.
That is Ruger 10/22 level price, had to buy it at that price.
Got one for 400 bucks at the pawn shop .... better to have a 400 dollar ar than no ar ....
Its a less than 200 yards paper puncher ....
Im not really into ARs but every body should have one in the gun cabinet cause in these times you never know ....
And worse case if you have to bury it in cosmoline in a cannister in a field somplace its cheap
Did you say the twist rate and I missed it?you said it I just didn’t wait,lol I like the “God” twist of 1 in 8 unless you’re gonna shoot nothing but 55 or nothing but 65 or higher in the same ammo always.
Have you tried any of the other Del-Ton AR15s? I am interested in how the Echo and Sierra compare but also the others.
This is the first one.
Their lowers are excellent, it’s all the experience I personally have with delton.
Hello there. Is the 316L worth it for $350? Or the 316H sierra for $400? My first option is the ruger 556 but is almost $300 more expensive. Thanks!

So with a 1 in 9 twist dont they prefer the heavier bullet weights? Because i know they always say 1in 7 needs smaller weights to stabilize better

Great AR. I've had mine for just over a year. I love it. I've upgraded the trigger and added a few things. I've easily put over 700 rounds through it and never had an issue. Lol. I take that back. I bought a couple inexpensive polymer magazines and for some reason it won't feed correctly . But it's just with the 2 magazine... weird?
Im looking to get 1 more AR15 and not sure what to get so can you name me 3 4 5 that fit in what I have.

Is there a specific ammo you prefer? I heard that rifle's accuracy is not good.
Its not very good but most people buying a $400 AR arent concerned with making 100+ yard shots

Why do you guys buy a cheap gun, then slap expensive optics on the gun. Your optics have to be more than the price of the gun.
Cuz we like to shoot at trash and ammo is too expensive😭....
Nobody is buying a cheap rifle to go to battle nor home/self defense.
Well if it makes you feel better, the Bushnell scope I put on my Del-ton was only half as expensive as the rifle.
LOL....I put a cheap $43 6x24x50 Beileshi (whatever that name is) scope purchased in Amazon and it does a good job in making the rounds hit and kick the can up in the air over and over at 100 yards....and my rifle only cost....$360 bucks....and it will hurt the same as a $2,000 rifle....

Ive had del ton and radical firearms ar 15s . The radical is far more accurate at distance. Del ton is still good but radical is better and they both cost same price at the store .
