Both my parents were absent. But it terms of my mother, I’ve found that a lot my friendships not just with Lillian - most of my girlies have mothering and nurturing characteristics. I will say having an absent mother made me fantasise a lot in childhood; thinking of the mother I wish I had while I was young and now I find I get to be the mother I wish I had for Maïa but also the mother Maïa needs. ❤

Honestly I would say it would be much better to blur her face and keep that privacy to your closed one family and friends. the internet is a dangerous place. Yes your supporters may ask to see your bundle of joy but not every voice of will come from a place of true intentions. Once a picture is out in the internet anyone has a choice to use it. I say this because my sister in law had posted a picture of her a child on Facebook and someone decided to create an AI face of the child.

Best friend looks like her lesbian partner at this point more involved in the whole process and present. But nevertheless or my useless judgements her and her baby look healthy and that’s what matters.
