Morning. :) I don't have any polish from this maker, but I loved all of the colors you swatched today. Halloween and sparkles...I'm so there! lol I really enjoyed your reflection about these polishes months after you purchased them..."What the heck was I thinking when I made this purchase?" is something I repeated over and over to myself when I was packing up to move last month. I honestly really appreciate the time between wishlisting and adding to cart because it gives me time to add and intentionally remove polishes. I also need to say that when a new collection of polishes becomes available for sale that I really want there is a bit of an almost "frenzy" like experience I personally go through because of FOMO, you know? With my decision to no/low buy, I have tried to recognize this whole "ritual" I go through when purchasing polish and it has made me take a step back and be more considerate of my purchases. I also have been good about not buying and entire collection of polish when I know good and well I probably won't wear certain colors, you know? Now, as far as how I'm actually doing this month vs last month...I'm honestly doing a lot better, but I'm really not where I want to be yet..I've gotten tripped up with "sales". I picked up a couple of polishes from Cracked during their 40% off 4th of July sale. I also ended up picking up 5 polishes from Night Owl Lacquers because they're having a 20% off sale through the end of the month...none of these purchases were planned, but had been on my radar, you know? I picked up two polishes from PPU Rewind this month (planned) and two polishes from HHC (was hoping I wouldn't find anything, but did) and I just added two polishes from PGB (unplanned). I also need to mention the two polish collections I did plan on purchasing this month and received. So, once again I acknowledge that I purchased a lot less polish this month over last month, but I still didn't meet my original expectation of trying to just focus on winter and holiday polishes from here on out. Ironically, it's only halfway through the month. Now, that I'm writing this out I've been adding up how many bottles of polish I purchased this month so far I'm at 25 bottles. lol So my no/low buy this month is a lot higher than I realized or hoped. In addition I also purchased a nail dryer off Amazon along with acetone polish remover and I picked up sponge wedges and a pack of those little square sponges for gradient manis along with nail polish remover wipes and a nail brush clean up jar that I plan to use for my cuticle clean up whenever I mess up. So, yeah...I have to really figure out what no/low buy needs to mean to me if I don't want to end up with 500 bottles of nail polish. Wow, I feel like I just went to confession. lol The only thing I can do from here on out is do better next month. I'm not going to beat myself up because this is just part of my journey with polish, you know? I'm sure I'm not alone in this. Please note that I don't think there is anything wrong with owning as much nail polish as you want. My personal goal and motivations with polish are my own and I don't want to come across like I'm not supportive of whatever anyone else decides to do with their love of polish, you know? This is just my personal experience. Any advice or encouragement for me to meet my goal next month will be much appreciated. Sorry, I wrote a book. :D Also, I do want to add that I'm hoping to pick up two polishes from the PBE, if the polishes I want will still be available through the sellers website after the fact. Also, Meticulous Manicurist is having sale starting tomorrow and she's got four polishes..two top coats, a bottom coat and a polish that I've had my eye on for a while. I love her formula so much. I had planned to purchase from her next month, but with the sale I'm hard pressed to hold off, you know? Now that I've basically purged my soul, I'm going to go reflect and make up my mind do better next month than I have this month, which I'm doing so much better based on the amount of polish I picked up last month which I'm totally embarrassed to confess too. lol
I love this confessional. I totally understand. It is hard to do a low buy. A no buy doesn't even seem possible to me. I definitely get caught up in the sales also. I think everyone has something that they spend their money on, whether it is clothes, coffee, makeup, eating out. Polish is just what I spend my money on. I do need to do a low buy also, not due to money, but more due to space. The only thing I find upsetting about polish collecting, is when I go back onto my collection months later and see how many polishes that I own that I really don't love. Like why did I spend my money on this??? I do plan on (after the PBE overpours) trying to do a contain myself better buying period. The only suggestion I have for low buys is to stop following brands on Facebook/Instagram so you do not know about releases. You could also turn your notifications off for UA-camrs so you don't see there videos. Then when you are ready you can just refollow brands and turn your notifications back on. I don't know if that will help. I'm always amazed and proud of people who stick to their no/low buys. It can be do challenging. Thanks for watching!!!

Out of sight....out of mind will have to become my new mantra...I don't need to be buying 30 bottles of polish or more every month. smh* I will do better next month...even if I half what I did this month to wean myself off this habit it will enable me to bring it into a place that will meet my goal. I'm going to make my focus next month the nail table and the nail polish shaker I want and tell myself this is it for awhile, so that I can redirect my focus. I'm going to read "Atomic Habits" again to remind myself how to break up this habit and go from there. I've "habit staged" my polish collection so I have a great working setup for doing my manis and I have all my related products organized the way I prefer. I'm going to start looking for nail polish history, education and application videos to watch over new release videos to start shifting my attention...Your counsel really help me today...thanks again. :)

I thought it was about how to form habits and make them stick. Do you think it will help to break a habit? I don't know if you are on Facebook or not. There is a group called Put the Polish Down. It is a really good group. It is for people trying to buy less polish. Kind of like a support group. Good luck with your low buy. You can do it!
I purchased neons from this shop last year, I had to dispute it because it didn't ship for a while, then it finally shipped. I haven't purchased anything else from them, but your purchase is beautiful. I hope the seller's personal issues are resolved and she comes back when she's ready.
I really like the brand and the polishes. I know she has a full time job besides polish. I imagine it is a lot to try to juggle by yourself. I would love to see more from the brand also. Thanks for watching!!!
