    Another vote for the Hope rotors.

    using the silca sealant already after years of trying lesser products. works very well, but as you say a little more faff to set up and must remember to replenish regulalry (my failing). Rotor advice most useful for me going forward, sram rival brakes probably need an upgrade though.

      Sram brakes tend to squeak/warp less, but still far from perfect.

    thanks for video. What do you think of Bodyrocket sensors?

      Cheers. I can’t really see a real world use case for Bodyrocket. With current integrated bike designs it’s difficult to add even these sensors. Having strain gauged bars/seatpost/cranks for every customer coming is impossible.

    I didn’t have a good experience with Silca sealant, the carbon turned into little balls and shredded the rim tape on 2 sets of my wheels, went back to Stan’s…

      @ronykuba  Місяць тому

      We have never seen that happen. Must have been some really weak rim tape.

      @ Roval wheel tape on both occasions, I did some googling at the time and it seems common with some brands of tape. The carbon balls that form basically wore away at the tape around the edge of the spoke holes. Very annoying slow leak followed by total loss of pressure 😅

    what is your take on galfer wave cl rotors? thanks

      Haven’t tried those yet. They’re not floating though.

      @@ronykuba yes, they aren't. i'm a relatively light rider with a system weight about 71-73kg and I haven't had issue with those rotors on descents in mountains or hills with high gradients. horses for courses as they say. i'd consider changing at least the front one should I go to some places where descends are brake demanding.
      any experience with campag afs 03 rotors?

    Hey Ronald, do you still use Solestar carbon insoles?

    I totally recommend hope rotors (and calipers as well), not the lightest but bombproof and beautifully made
    Skvely content inak 😊

      Didn’t have the best of luck with the callipers, but the rotors are great.
      Ďakujem 👍

      @@ronykuba They are pain in the butt to bleed otherwise power and modulation has been great in my experience
