There should be a "3 strike rule". If you get your restaurant closed down 3 times for health violations, it gets shut down permanently.. This way, these people would make sure it's clean 24/7, otherwise this will always keep happening.
Also if they had so many violations in the first shut down, they should be fined big time. But if they continued or the violations were so high, possible prison time should be a real possibility for them. It does NOT matter where they came from or who they are, everybody should get the same treatment. Seriously, so many violations should just equal to them intentionally poisoning us and depending on how sick we get, potentially even going as far as saying attempted manslaughter.

I owned a restaurant and I can tell you first hand that the public has no idea how the food they are ordering has been prepared... and this not only applies to small hole in the wall establishments but also five star restaurants. You always take your chances when you come into a restaurant and eat the food they prepare for you, the best food is the food you prepare for yourself....at least you know the amount of cooties you put into it.
As a employee I can confirm the fact that you have to keep your 10 fingers hands clean at all times and also to make sure that the used dishes are cleaned properly and the floor and tables are also cleaned properly it’s important for customers reputation for them to have a positive attitude to the cleanliness.

My father used to clean Chinese owned restaurants for a living. He had clients who very interested in the cleanliness of their restaurants. These Las Vegas restaurants may want to hire a crew to do the same thing.

my family runs a Asian place that has received consistent top grades and i have a tip for you all: 1: always go to places with open kitchens (it means you can see the kitchen) 2: Check the floors around the grill and fryer area 3: Check the walls the floor walls always give a great example of the level of sanitation in a small business. because the floor is where food and stuff falls down if they don't care about food on the floors then they don't care about food all over counters food on floors always lead to bugs and that's the main reason why all the other stuff happen LASTLY the most important try and see if they eat food that they prep. if they are able to consume their own food. it means it is most likely a clean place.

There are no new owners it just other family members and a different false names as the Chinese don't don't think they should show passports or identification. I use to deliver cleaning products in Las Vegas. There is a Japanese restaurant on Spring Mt kitchen was filthy, There was a Chinese restaurant on the strip near the cathedral it was horrible. The cooks were smoking while cooking. There was raw food on the counter. There was An Elevator Shaft that wasn't being used and they Poured their unwanted Grease into this Shaft. The Only place in Vegas that the kitchens were clean was Changs. Several other chinese restaurants were in bad condition. There were several Red Lobsters that were just as bad. People think it is High class to eat at a Red Lobster. Take a stroll thru their kitchen.
Some years ago someone told my that some teenager that worked on the closing shift at a local fast food place got caught putting his own "white sauce" into one of the condiment containers that gets transferred into the condiment dispensers. This supposedly happened in my towns Burger King, I thought it was just some BS rumor, then to may amazement, it hit the 10:00 O'Clock news the next night. Thankfully, I never once ate at that BK, in fact, I may eat fast food only once or twice a year, it's not that I'm overly concerned about sanitation, I just don't enjoy eating low quality food that just doesn't taste very good to me. If I'm going to consume the amount of calories, fat, and carbs that come with a quarter lb burger, bun, and fries, I would rather cook up a nice steak and smother it in a fresh mushroom au jus or some cooked onions, a nice salad, some fresh veggies, and a glass of decent wine. 100X better.

"3week old tomato sauce" This actually pales in comparison to the other stuff. Processed tomato sauce will last for many weeks. Homemade stuff would have went bad long ago but there is no chance they make their own sauce. Restaurants like this buy it by the bucket/jug.
I met a former waitress of an Asian restaurant in Greenville S.C. who said she quit when she saw them scraping leftover food off plates back into pots in the kitchen.
The funny thing is that I am a Chinese buffet junkie, and I have eaten in all the Chinese buffets across the country for five decades now. And I can honestly say that I have never gotten sick once from them.
When these places are caught over and over, sited and fined for the same practices of filthy, unhealthy conditions why are they still open for business??? It appears the health department is only concerned about finding infractions of the standard health codes so they can collect the money and go right on to the next dirty dining restaurant. Then they make their rounds a few months later to the same restaurants knowing they are going to reap the same results and benefits of multiple fines. It personally sounds like a money racket to me instead of a legitimate health inspections concern for public safety and well being of the customer. So basically we have “Dirty Dining vs Dirty, Corrupt, Local & State Politicians.”
0:50. Worked in F&B prior. I have to speak up on this. Defrosting in stagnant water is fine. Just set the kitchen timer for 3-4 hrs and should be fine as long as it's not hot water. Defrosting in a microwave is not feasible either. One is it will cause "burns" and second the quantity is just too much. The issue here is. It's not feasible for them to order fresh meat every few days in a week. Frozen meat is more cost effective. However, I do agree with the submerged hose. It's basically spreading germs all over.

Great job Darcy on reporting. I am asian myself and glad i found this video channel to watch, such a digusting restaurant. i thought a C grade is good but not enought after watching this. That owner is guilty as hell and felt ashamed and try to hide about it.
And some take out restaurant is opening kitchen, whole layout customer stand at the counter can see though
beware of the meat as well it can be dog or cat meat. chinese workers are staying close to me neighborhood and a lot of pets are disappearing

Chinese food places might be dirty but Chinese drink places are SPOTLESS. I worked at several Chinese/Taiwanese owned boba places and we cleaned it from top to bottom every night

This actually pales in comparison to the other stuff. Processed tomato sauce will last for many weeks. Homemade stuff would have went bad long ago but there is no chance they make their own sauce. Restaurants like this buy it by the bucket/jug.
I met a former waitress of an Asian restaurant in Greenville S.C. who said she quit when she saw them scraping leftover food off plates back into pots in the kitchen.

The funny thing is that I am a Chinese buffet junkie, and I have eaten in all the Chinese buffets across the country for five decades now. And I can honestly say that I have never gotten sick once from them.

When these places are caught over and over, sited and fined for the same practices of filthy, unhealthy conditions why are they still open for business??? It appears the health department is only concerned about finding infractions of the standard health codes so they can collect the money and go right on to the next dirty dining restaurant. Then they make their rounds a few months later to the same restaurants knowing they are going to reap the same results and benefits of multiple fines. It personally sounds like a money racket to me instead of a legitimate health inspections concern for public safety and well being of the customer. So basically we have “Dirty Dining vs Dirty, Corrupt, Local & State Politicians.”
0:50. Worked in F&B prior. I have to speak up on this. Defrosting in stagnant water is fine. Just set the kitchen timer for 3-4 hrs and should be fine as long as it's not hot water. Defrosting in a microwave is not feasible either. One is it will cause "burns" and second the quantity is just too much.
The issue here is. It's not feasible for them to order fresh meat every few days in a week. Frozen meat is more cost effective. However, I do agree with the submerged hose. It's basically spreading germs all over.

Gross!!!!! I would rather cook my own foods from home. Never going to out ever again. I don't wanna die young yet. I love to eat clean foods....no bacteria or chemical at all. I'm very sensitive here.
