    It looks like a nice downtown. Love the buildings! And scenery, how pretty. Sounds like a nice, quiet place to live. For some people, places like this seem boring, but sometimes boring is good.

    I really look forward to your videos! I’ve been to Carson a hundred times, but your video style, your lovely voice, the music… makes everything seems so magical! And your shots of the Mustangs in Washoe are amazing!! Also, looks like you’ve got a really cool place!! And Tahoe is super close!! See you soon! 🍻

    Great choice GV. The weather is much more bearable. More wildlife and Tahoe is still just a hop skip and a jump away! More affordable living area. I myself did a lot of home searches in that area, closer to Gardnerville. I just love that area. The Bay Area is horrible now, so that got me looking. Good luck there.

    Looking forward to returning there in October from S. Carolina. Stepmom lives there. Love and miss that whole area. I lived in SLT in the mid-70's. Retired now and loving traveling, camping, recording my journies, all that fun stuff. Nomadic finally. Great video! New subscriber here. Keep up the superb work!

    Where are the people - business, locals, tourists?!! Like the herd of local "pets":-) Loved seeing the wild horses and your enthusiasm when you saw them. Very quiet looks Very quiet, probably too little in Carson City area to keep me interested. Reno a better choice (I suspect).

    Sweet. I'm heading there in a few weeks and my son lives there. I want to find those wild horses. Only seen one and I can't believe there are so many there. Seem elusive every trip.

    • @GabriellaViola
      @GabriellaViola  2 роки тому

      They are elusive, I went back the next night to that very spot and they were gone..so i got lucky the first time, but im sure if I kept driving around Washoe Lake I might have seen them...

    If you get a chance, check out the Little Train Rides in Mills Park. The rides continue until Labor Day. The track is a 2 foot gauge and the trip is around 1.5 miles. The train runs every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4PM. Rides are only $2 a person. There's also both an HO and N scale layouts in the station.

    I really enjoyed watching you explore the area, Im up in Reno but Washoe Lake is one of my favorite places for the wild horses. Honestly that Valley is just so beautiful. And Ive been wanting to go to the hot springs there for a bit. Maybe you can get over to the Virginia City area next. Just a heads-up the way to pronounce Washoe is WA-SHOW

    Good evening.Now that you moved to CC you should take the short hop to Virginia City. There is a lot of history about the area during the mining days.I suggest taking the old train that runs from CC and takes you to VC and back..its takes almost a whole day but the views of the old mines could make for some good shots.The guides also offer some history about the area that is quite interesting.Many old shops and old bars. It feels like you step back in time. i think the train starts running in the spring and summer.Try Grandmas Fudge Factory.

    • @GabriellaViola
      @GabriellaViola  2 роки тому

      thanks so much for the suggestions Scott!! I've been to VC a couple of years ago and many of the shops were closed, but i loved it there, but i was absolutely thinking of going back and doing another video there and maybe spending the night...maybe a haunted video lol ..

    Nevada has no income tax as well. I’m about to go full time being a traveling daytrader, so I could live out of an RV, but I’d like to find a small home in an income tax free state. Lots of options there. As a rural Ohioan visiting Tahoe and Yosemite right now, this is definitely an option. Trying squeeze in for breakfast today.
