Sorry to hear this. First, are you absolutely sure you have a male and a female? trust me its happened to all breeders. DNA testing is the only sure way. It's been my experience that when a pair is not breeding it's typically due to the male is not happy with something. Some tricks that us breeders have tried, moving the birds. This sometimes stimulates the birds once they've been moved into a different location. Try changing rooms, try even changing cages. There's something that's not making them happy. and LOTS of fresh foods... The male has to know that he will have enough food to feed his mate so she can feed the chicks, plus she needs to eat and at the end he needs to eat. That's a lot of food that the male needs. All of this of course is reliant on you have two healthy birds that can produce. Best of luck' and really that's what it's about. lol

Once I pull the eggs I put them into incubators. For most of my parents they will sit and incubate and hatch their eggs on their own. If that's the case I leave them alone and let them do their job. These eggs happen to come from parents that do not sit on all of their eggs therefore I pull them and incubate and hatch them myself.
I stop two or three days before its hatch date. This is what I do, and its works for me! I think different incubators and the amount of humidity also factor into this.

Some of them are just really stubborn about switching over to pellets. An easy method I found, is I put them with a bird that is already on pellets. Once they see the other bird eating the pellets they kind of join in. If you do not have another bird that's on pellets. Slowly weaning him off of all that seed would certainly help. Although, I've known birds that have lived 15 to 17 years on a seed combination diet.

@@Bird.Squawk Bundle of thanks sir,,, i feel pleasure to say this , you are a great responsible Birds Lover because you always present for help anyone in your field work,, God bless upon u always and give you Healthy and long life❤️
It would depend on when the eggs were laid. It can take up to week to start showing signs they are fertile. We let ours set for 2 weeks, if at that time they are not fertile then you can choose to pull the eggs and discard them. If it is a young pair it may take a few times for them to get it right...and then sometimes they may just not be a compatible pair.
Hi! I was wondering how often do you have babies die in shell? My hen laid a clutch of 4, 3 of which died in shell. One passed early on after about 3 weeks post lay, and the other two started to pip and by the next day they were gone. The only one that made it is thriving and is actually progressing at an advanced rate. This was my hen's 4th clutch, 3rd with me, and out of 10 fertile eggs, 1 baby survived life 3 days, and then the 3 shell deaths. Is this something that reflects the health of the hen, or just an unknown phenomenon that we can't really do much in the way of assistance? I've seen one or two successful assists, but when I've asked about the how to, the breeder has not let me be privy to the process. Only that it was a process learned over many years. I saw you had mentioned you've had unsuccessful assistances in a reply to another comment here, but I guess I'm just trying to better understand what might be going wrong. My hen is in great health. She's my only breeder female, only has one partner, and she gets a good intake of regular calcium.
Could be many things! Where they fertile, did the parents sit on them correctly, if in a incubator......was the temp correct, where the eggs rotated correctly.................... So many things that could have went wrong.

@@Bird.Squawk Bundle of thanks sir,,, i feel pleasure to say this , you are a great responsible Birds Lover because you always present for help anyone in your field work,, God bless upon u always and give you Healthy and long life❤️
My cockatail egs are not fertilized and the male were sitting on it the whole say what should I do
It would depend on when the eggs were laid. It can take up to week to start showing signs they are fertile. We let ours set for 2 weeks, if at that time they are not fertile then you can choose to pull the eggs and discard them. If it is a young pair it may take a few times for them to get it right...and then sometimes they may just not be a compatible pair.
@@Bird.Squawk okay thanks for replying

@@Bird.Squawk I’m waiting on my cockatiel and I’m running out of videos weaning can’t happen fast enough
She's my only breeder female, only has one partner, and she gets a good intake of regular calcium.
do you have a facebook page as well?
In the works....
When you say a COUPLE days, are we LITERALLY talking about 2 Days?
my eggs aren't hatching . what could it be ?
Could be many things! Where they fertile, did the parents sit on them correctly, if in a incubator......was the temp correct, where the eggs rotated correctly.................... So many things that could have went wrong.

Hi there!! I'm looking all over to buy some fertile cockatiel eggs but I'm scared cause there are so many scammers. Do you sell them and ship them as well? Please let me know 🥰🥰
Sorry, no we do not sell eggs.
