@@oscarmauriciocastroramos4814 What we meant is the artist's skills to draw hands. She drew it without guidelines and clearly knows hand anatomy. Of course it's easy to copy what she did in the video lmfao
If you draw A LOT of hands, it becomes easier. Just start with shapes like boxes as finger joints and practise drawing them at the right angle. Use enough guidance
Trydodis Every art tutorial ever. I have Mark Crilley's books and I got them cause his tutorials are fantastic but when I got to the part about drawing a full body, it was just like "draw a circle. Hey, people in the comments who are also artists, you’re doing amazing. Keep it up. If you’re having an artblock, that’s okay, it happens to everyone, no stress. You guys are fantastic at what you do.
Whenever I'm drawing a character or a person and get to the point where I have to draw the hands I usually look at my own hand as a point of reference. It actually helps a lot!
yall just because it was easy for this artist doesn't mean it's going to be easy for everyone. I'm sure this artist practiced for years before mastering that hand. These things take time.
Okay, stuff like this is honestly stupid. Art works, usually, using bases. Things like circles, ovals, squares, rectangles, spheres, ext. it all goes back to the basics that we all learned in art class in elementary. Still life? Constantly. Shading exercises? An essential. Color wheel? I use it all the damn time! It takes a lot of time before someone can just make art that looks good without a base. And videos online that are titled “how to draw ---“ but only show where to put specific lines are absolute bullshit. Do that your whole art career, and your not going to improve whatsoever. Look towards videos that focus on real life anatomy and perspective. Finding a style consists of taking things from real life, and simplifying certain features. If you focus on videos like these and try to “learn” from them, your wasting your time because your not creating your own style, your copying someone else’s. If someone’s drawing this stuff for fun, go right ahead, but don’t call your self a “serious artist” if you’ve gone off of videos like these (This has been a very lengthy rant, my bad!! 🤗)
It's not that serious, some people draw for fun instead of creating their own vision of art, copying someone style can teach you a lot of things if you take it further
Agreed. Just learning the exact location of lines ain’t gonna getchu nowhere. If you actually use shapes, you’ll be able to know how anatomy works, and you’ll be able to draw any pose straight outta your head. But if you try to remember location of lines, you’re gonna have to go through each pose individually(believe me, there are thousands) and memorize the location of every single line
It’s not that deep... I think that videos such as these serve as stepping stones for persons who are learning to draw, and can be used to help give them a push in the right direction.
What is this? Well, there’s news about everything. Celebrities, sports, shootings, politics, etc. Why would this being on the news be a surprise to you?
