- Go shelling with me, learn some of the names of the most common seashell finds here on the gulf coast, and enjoy the views of Honeymoon Island State park on a warm Florida winter day!
Wow, amazing you knew all the names of these shells. So beautiful I felt for a moment I was there🐚.
Beautiful Lace Murex at 6:25! Love your content
thank you for your video ... love your videography and pace. I would like to mention ... at 3:24 the shell you identified as a nutmeg I believe is a juvenile Florida Fighting Conch. And, again at 8:18 the shell you identified as abalone is a piece of a pen shell. These are only observations ... I'm not certain ... but, you might check to see. Looking forward to more of your videos.
Thank you for your response! I’m still new to shelling, so I can definitely take all of the information I can get! I honestly had issues identifying some of the shells, because some of them look nearly identical to the others! Thank you for watching! :)
Definitely part of a pen shell and not abalone. But wow, a lace murex! ...now I'll have to make it a day trip from St. Pete to go shelling on Honeymoon Island. Great vid!
Cool finds! All those chestnut turbans are cool!
I hope you went north to the Sandy beach!
