I bought some seeds. Now is march i will be planting them in may as you said 😊😊😊but here is the problem. Our yard is small so we have chickens and roosters they hang around in our yard so i have to plant them in pots and i want to put them in my room(sunny section)what do you think.can asters grow in pots in rooms.
This year I try China Asters they turned out so beautiful …your videos are so beautiful that I find myself trying new seeds … I wish I can find your products here
It depends how quickly you cut them, here’s a link to my website all the details are in the product description 👍 zoewoodwardgardening.com/product/china-aster-rainbow-mix/
You really must follow the rules with plants. There is a plant for every place, but China Asters are extremely light sensitive to a house plant would suit you better x
I love picking up tips on flower 'teams' that can follow on one from the other - thanks Zoe! I think you mentioned that you had the China Asters in the same bed the previous year. I keep reading that Asters shouldn't be planted in the same place for seven years!! Have you found that this extended crop rotation is unnecessary to keep disease at bay?
Hi Jaime these videos were a look forward ahead of the actual planting. I have in fact planted them elsewhere. My Instagram instagram.com/zoewoodwardgardening/ Give live update in real time, the China Asters are just starting to bloom so you can have a look over the next couple of weeks and see how they are doing. Thanks, Zoe. Really useful to have this on UA-cam to check out whether or not to pinch asters!
You're so welcome!
I have had terrible germination this year, tried 3 times, never had a problem before. They are my favourite flower
Try starting them off indoors, the soil might have been baked in the sun and dried out the seeds x
