Milling the lumber is the most likely the important part a lot of people don’t know where boards come from keep up the good work and you two are meeting your goal. Congratulations
I think you should edit a montage of the build of your barn, it has been an incredible build with an amazing effort of harvesting logs, milling, sizing and constructing over the several years you have been building. You both deserve a piece of pie for youur efforts.
Love and enjoy your videos. May the lord bless and protect you and Heather and working on the homestead milling wood. Your post and beam building looks outstanding
Good Afternoon from South Ga. Always enjoy your content if you’re cutting wood or tilling, whatever. It’s the shared work and comedy that you share that makes this channel so enjoyable.
I do enjoy watching the milling process videos. Have you two ever messed up a log so bad you had to scrap it?? LoL I don't think I've ever seen that on camera anyways. 😮
Hey have an idea for you two to conceder with all those cast offs you have stacked up there you could always debark them and stain them and use like siding make you garage look like it's made out of logs ....
6 am in BC….I THINK YOU FOLKS ARE SO WISE MILLING YOUR OWN LUMBER….went to buy 1/2 sheet of 1” plywood….hmmmm..prices sure have gone up! AGAIN So got a pallet with 1” plywood..nailed onto 4x4’s. I worked for days …I’m 80 …I”m making Dollie’s to move back to Ont. I wrote on it- I think I can, I think I can…-but changed it after 3 days to “I thought I could…ending with I CAN’T”. LEFT IT BY OUR RECYCLE bin…..our very kind caretaker…quietly put the plywood by my back deck (live in seniors place)….he cut it into two pieces and yesterday I finished laminating them onto 2x10x36 -2 together…..for Dollie’s to move freezer and totes piled on the other into moving truck….made several now…. So I value your work
I enjoy watching the log milling but then again I kick myself for selling my two mills just because I wasn't doing that much anymore.. Still operate the drying kiln tho

I think a video in the 20-minute range is fine, I find that longer videos, from anyone is harder to commit that kind of time.
