Fakt famózní, fantastické:) Jen taková otázka: máte spočítané kolik je tam kilometrů kolejí? A stala se Vám tam i nějaká nehoda?
Love this. The cars, people , cable car, landscape. Amazing! New subscriber here. I cannot imagine how much work this takes to maintain. Does it snow where you are? It would be harder then, I guess. Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽
Thank you for the words of encouragement. Yes, it is a lot of work to maintain a layout this size. It does snow sometimes here on the Westcoast of Canada. In fact I have made a video running my battery- operated snowplow locomotive. Unfortunately the snow is mosty quite wet, plowing is a sticky affair as you will see in the video. ua-cam.com/video/AnC_v-aqzyE/v-deo.html
The time of construction? It is hard to say. The basic layout took about two years. Many extensions happened during the last 19 years. Thanks for your interest.
😊😊 Another great video... I seen some things I haven't seen before... I love the ending it was different.... I do have a question if you can find the time to answer... on the cab ride for the new extension from 4 years ago where it makes the turn around right past the 17 ft trestle,,, on the tree to the right it has a round black object mounted on the tree is this a Wi-Fi camera... if not I would be curious to know what it is I have been wondering about this for 4 years.... 😮❤😂
I love to read comments like yours. However, you have me puzzled over one of your remarks. In what way is the ending different? And I looked at the video several times in detail and could not find a round, black object mounted on a tree. In any case it is not a Wi-Fi camera. Anything electronic kept outdoor is bound to fail sooner or later. Moisture is the enemy. It is not the rain, it's condensation.
I finally had a look at the old video. You are very observant. That little black object on the tree trunk is the top cover of a common spray can with a toggle switch mounted in the middle of the flat bottom. I can switch the power on and off to one of the two parallel tracks immediately following. Thus I can use one track as a siding or parking track. What I said earlier about electronics outdoors still goes. This switch is weatherproof. Hope that answers you question. Sorry for taking so long. Cheers.
What an impressive work. How many centuries did you need to create this AND the garden around? Have you enough time to play train after the daily maintenance ?
Not all trains stop at all stations. Such is the case with real trains. But if you like to see the train stop at smaller stations go to another video of mine: ua-cam.com/video/e4VxvdRbTlY/v-deo.html Here you will see the train stop at some stations. I have found that viewers will quit when nothing is moving and a very short stop is unrealistic an any case. There is a practical reason too. I can not keep the camera car in sight at all times, because I do not want to end up in the picture, and an improper stop is worse then none at all. Thanks for thinking it is impressive in spite of the short coming.
@@Landsend-Railroad Have seen all the vidoes on your channel. The scaling, layout design, very minute attention to details is beyond words. How much time it took to build this layout ?
I started working on this layout in 2002. The first train ran in 2024. In the beginning there was only the central core about 200 meters of track, many of the features were added later. The track has more then doubled since. The last construction took place this year. Thanks for your interest, I appreciate it.
I appreciate what you are saying, but do you have any idea howmany times I am fixing damages of the simple knock-down of small items, that get pushed over by bunnies, racoons, neighbors cat and most of all by the birds when they pushoff into flight?

Amazing!
Thank you.
GRANDIOSO.
THANKS!
Awesomely done! How long did it take to build the whole construction?
Cheers.
Amazing!!!!!!!!
Thanks for your vote.
What an impressive work. How many centuries did you need to create this AND the garden around? Have you enough time to play train after the daily maintenance ?
Very impressive! But why didn't the train stop at any station except from the one at the end of the journey??
Not all trains stop at all stations. Such is the case with real trains. But if you like to see the train stop at smaller stations go to another video of mine: ua-cam.com/video/e4VxvdRbTlY/v-deo.html Here you will see the train stop at some stations. I have found that viewers will quit when nothing is moving and a very short stop is unrealistic an any case. There is a practical reason too. I can not keep the camera car in sight at all times, because I do not want to end up in the picture, and an improper stop is worse then none at all. Thanks for thinking it is impressive in spite of the short coming.
@@Landsend-Railroad Thank you for your explanation!!
I Love ❤❤❤
I love you too.
Just amazing!! whats the location of this garden railway ? Is it possible to visit ?
It is located in the Victoria area, British Columbia, Canada. Sorry, it is not a public garden.
@@Landsend-Railroad Great Work!
It's so good, but again - for realism, where are the signals for protecting points, tunnels, level crossings etc.?
I appreciate what you are saying, but do you have any idea howmany times I am fixing damages of the simple knock-down of small items, that get pushed over by bunnies, racoons, neighbors cat and most of all by the birds when they pushoff into flight?
Nothing to do at L E once you get there; you can’t even buy a cup of coffee: you can only buy an expensive Cornish tea which can include coffee. Me? I came and went by bus
You are talking about a different Landsend. This one is on the Canadian Westcoast, not in Great Brittan.
@@Landsend-Railroad oh, right , ta - bet you can’t get a Cornish cream tea on the Canadian West Coast, not for any price ‘less you get it specially flown over!

Saudações do Canadá.
That's a lot of track.
It is somewhat over 400 meters.
Wow.
wow wow
W tunelach powinno być minimalne oświetlenie
Where’s the cat?
We don't have one anymore. And the neighbors cat is camera shy.
😎
is this O guage or OO guage??
For Garden Trains it is kown as G Gauge. With it's 45 mm it is really Gauge 1.
@@HoboHeaven In Berlin wuerde man sagen: DENKSTE.
Wow! Nice!
Thanks !
