WD 1 was centered around one character and so had more time sent on him and what made him, him. WDL is made to let players play as anyone but had to make compromises so character models wouldn't take up the whole games production time. So they made a base body, faces, hair cloths, and a few variant animations too make characters feel unique without spending years on making different characters. WDBL is a DCL so it's working of the last games systems, and has a smaller budget.so they Couldn't spend as much time and money on his looks or unique animations and he has to use the base body from the base because I'd be too much work to remake all the animations for a different model. So the only thing that they could do was give him a face, clothes and a unique walking animation. The game already has a set system for clothes so they couldn't do any extra warpage since the clothes were designed to work on the other characters. With different walking animations. They were basically given a bunch of Lego minifigure pieces and told to make Aiden Pearce. They still did good with what they had but it was never going to be perfect and I'm tired of people pointing this one thing out just to say the whole game it terrible because apparently hating Watch Dogs Legion is cool. It's not perfect, there is clunk there in there. But overall this is probably one of the better games made buy Unity recently. I would say go for it if you're a Watch Dogs fan, but there's a lot of features from previous games that are missing, it's a completely different experience but I honestly liked it.
