AOA President's Update with Dr. Ira Monka '84

On January 23, 2024, the Office of Student Affairs and Alumni Engagement hosted the AOA President's Lecture featuring SOM’s own, Ira P. Monka, DO '84.
Dr. Monka is the first SOM alumnus to serve as the President of the American Osteopathic Association. He is an AOA board-certified osteopathic family physician and fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. He practices at the Medical Institute of New Jersey in Cedar Knolls. Dr. Monka is a past president of the New Jersey Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons and the Rowan-Virtua SOM Alumni Association.
