finally, a video capturing a realistic day in the life of a designer. i see so many days in the life of designers and none of them work in an agency, they just make posters
@@PeterWeon i hope you don't mind me answering... But I'd like to see a video on how one can create opportunities to get a job in UX. I know it's usually more than just applying
Stunning office 😍Loved this video!! I was wondering if you have any advice in getting to an agency job as a self taught designer? As a self taught graphic designer, what exactly do you put on your resume to get hired.... Other than listing "proficient in Adobe suite, etc." I have a degree in something completely different than design (in education), so how do I get employers to look at me without formal education in design? I am worried that even before getting to the portfolio, they would just skip you because the resume wouldn't have formal design education on it. Would really appreciate some insight into this, thank you!!❤
So we used to have our photo studio at 450 W 31st for years and saw Hudson Yards emerge. And I lived on 433 W 34th so that neighborhood was it for my life for many years. We went to Golden City constantly until we sold the biz and moved to Chicago in 2018. Before the neighborhood blew up we used to joke that Golden City was the cafeteria for B&H Photo across the avenue. So happy to see this place still working hard to serve good, inexpensive food.
I'm looking to move to NYC and break into Experience Design. Do you have any tips for how to go from a Bachelor in Digital Marketing to breaking into this field (including physical experiences)? Or what path did you take? Thanks!
Are you yourself working at a startup and so what has been your experience so far. I myself am trying to get a role as a UI/UX designer at a startup so I would love your advice.
Came across your video as Im transitioning into the UX world and couldnt place where I’ve seen you before but pretty sure we have a mutual friend Katelyn. Lol small world
I do really miss my job. I was working for a design agency here in Sri Lanka and i was just starting with the age of 19. It was my second month working for the agency and days later some dudes broked into our house and took everthing that we had. I lost my laptop and i couldn't go back to work. I just miss my workflow and everthing so badly 😭😭😭

Yes! That’s definitely a huge perk. And that sounds great!

If you have any questions regarding UX, please let me know! Will do my best to help. :)
Seeing that giant office space so empty felt very ode and dystopian.
👏
i really wanna ask this question, is it worth coming to USA to continue your design career ? like is it safe out there ?
Yes it is!
Just got into ux and ui design, any tips you want to share
Definitely find a mentor!

The building has 24/7 security in case anyone tries to break in!

The video is cool, but it was the first designer's office which is boring.
Wow TBH that looks so depressing, uninspiring and miserable, kind of like a corporate prison. I'm glad I don't work there!
