- Merida's Mahle powered E-gravel bike is a distinctively light, quiet and practical ride but how does it handle on a mix of trails and road? Find out by joining me on a live gravel ride review.

Great channel by the way 👍🏼 I really enjoy your reviews!
This is I want to see when you testing a bike.
I will buy 😎👍
Cykling that fast on a tiny trail with pedestrians and dogwalkers would have cost me my life in my country. People would have gone crazy if I was to ride like that...
They generally would in the UK as well. I'd never ride that fast down a narrow trail full of dog walkers.
Where were the pedestrians? Good on him, had every right to use the trail as safely as he did.

Thx again ! Im really getting intrested by this bike !! Damn, I cant hear that rear hub !? By the way, are the wheels tubeless ready - I guess yes ?
Good thing about rear hub is . It Doesn’t Where out parts quickly
3:30 "Zero" removable system. Which system is this? I think that might be the best system for me.
Great review.. I've looked at this bike and like it a lot, but not sure it has enough pedal assist for me on the hills (68yr old) ..Its defiantly a gravel bike I'm after... Any ideas ?
I’m starting testing a Cairn E gravel bike tomorrow so that could be a good option. Watch this space
I think it depends more on how heavy you are mid drives are better for heavy riders. But mid drives are harder to pedals out of assistance
My wife, just a few years younger than you finds MAHLE X35 to be enough, even in the Italian Alps. I just bought one so I can keep up at 68 years myself!
68 ain't old!!!
Hello. I have a question or two. How tall are you, what is your inseam and what frame size do you ride? I'm hesitating between M and L. Greetings Tristan
Did you make a video for the ride down in Cornwall like you did for the king alfreds way
Yes, if you go to my main UA-cam page i
Pt1 should be the highlight video at the top.
Where is this trail is beautiful ❤️👍
Sorry chief, missed this one. Thruscross
What mile range did you get from one full battery charge?
No Answer... I would have the same question... Thanks😉!
I have this bike, love it. Range will vary a lot with your weight, number of hills and assistance mode used. I'm 200lbs and typically get between 40-60 miles riding mostly in eco mode (single battery). This bike is perfectly rideable with no assistance to get home so I have no range anxiety.
@@bitsandblocks7826 40-60 miles, how about tbhe elavatiob can do about 400?
see the ~humblebee on ~6:51
Hi, can i ask how tall you are in cm and your inner leg stem ? I am 170 and 80 and Merida says i should get size S - rather to small? Greetings from Austria 🇦🇹
Could u use this bike for road biking too?
Yes, just fit some slick tyres and it’d be great
Where is this please??
Upper Washburn valley in Yorkshire
Is the battery accessible at all so it can be replaced at a later date?
Yes but it’s a shop job really as various bits need removing
