pat bev and perk is too much idiocy. scrap perk for dray or rj. pat bev can carry the wild take, pot stirring stuff (perk tries so hard to be that and isnt good at it, he’s just basic hot takes and forced attitude). the other three can play off pat and exchange barbs.

Honestly before the series even started a lot of people already thought the Celtics were going to sweep or gentlemen sweep the Bucks the way they did the Nets, even as a Giannis fan I never thought this series would even go to a game 7 without Khris, maybe a game 5 or 6 but not 7 the way the Celtics have been playing. I know most people don't really believe in hypotheticals but I still believe Giannis is the best player and if Khris was healthy I had them winning it back to back. Congrats to the Celtics though! but I want a Heat vs Mavs Finals, I want to bring that classic rivalry back 🤣
didn’t see too many thinking sweep but did see 5 or 6 although most of those predictions changed after game 1 lol. however that’s how the game goes sometimes bucks may not win last year if giannis didn’t take out kyrie and now this year the injuries work against them. i’m sure milwaukee will live wit that trade off tho

Yeah I didn’t expect a gentleman sweep but we had multiple opportunities to finish it in 6 but our own blunders and Rob being out made this a grueling series
Cs for sure would have won in 5 had it not been for the nanosecond tip from Holford and the Cs brain fart of not boxing out in Game 5.

Y’all saw what would likely happen if teams of the previous eras tried to play in today’s game. Try play a big lineup and sag in the paint and you’d get killed on the perimeter. These old defenses had it easy.
Today’s players are quicker on their feet tho
flip side of that tho is lopez isnt a center that can ave 20-25 ppg so guy like robinson shaq or hakeem could’ve made them pay more on the other end.

And even if you have a dominant player that who is too physically imposing (as we saw with Giannis), the shooting is gonna outweigh that. Celtics for most part let Giannis go 1v1 and reduced on the clean looks that their shooters got.
@@newrecruit100 giannis plays a lot on the perimeter tho and will settle for jumpers those bigs would never attempt. those guys gonna get the ball on the block and if you try to play 1v1 and stick to shooters they will score 30+ especially vs today’s bigs who are giving up 25+lbs and have never had to defend the post to that extent
As a Bucks fan I'm not gonna sit here and blame it on Middleton's injury because we benefited from injuries last year. It is what it is. Still got a championship level team with Giannis, Middleton and Jrue. Just gotta add some more scoring.

Bruh it took the celtics 7 games to beat the bucks without Middleton playing at all while they had both brown and tatum, take brown out and the series would've been over in 5 lol. Missing your 3rd best player for a game and your 5th best player for 4 games isn't the same as not having your 2nd best player at all, especially in the bucks case where their 2nd best player is their closer and plays very well vs the celtics in the playoffs

I don't understand the strategy of letting the other team shoot threes. I mean , the main offensive weapon of nearly all teams is the three point shot. Does anybody know why the have used that strategy these past couple of years?
I mean look at game 1, they Celtics took 50 threes and hit a good amount of them, 36%, but lost and it wasn't as close as the 12 points looked. I think the problem for the Bucks was that they couldn't hit a three in this series outside of game 1.
