I sure wish I would have seen this video prior to assembling mine. You made it look a lot easier than what I went through. Thanks and looking forward to your other videos.
Thank you for taking time to put this video together, I just put mine together today and was much easier since watching your set up video. Amazingly I had same problem with the insert screws not lining up. Cannot get it remedied though. I tried what you did but still they do not line up. Everything else on the table is spot on. I am very impressed with this table and its accuracy. It has a lot of versatility also with being able to add storage underneath. The stand is really heavy duty steal, it is from Taiwan though. All the rest I believe is made in USA!
I actually bought my Kreg table from a floor display. So I didn't have to put it together. However.... after a few other issues that I finally got worked out. I had no idea how to level the insert plate to the table. Now I do! Thanks!
Thanks for making this! I bought the tabletop model which has a totally different fence, but the router insert plate is identical. I'm more of a visual learner, so the video helped me a lot with that. Your work is appreciated! Very well put together vid
Thanks for this. Getting my table tomorrow and this was a great primer for setting it up - especially the warning about the lever brackets. Video was very well edited. Well done.
Real good job Morton - better than Kreg themselves! I had to bring back my router table today for replacement as the T-track holes didnt match at all - wow said the Woodcraft guys! Lucky they had one in stock and they were kind enough to replace it. I opened the box to check if all is good. I will find out what else doesn't align - a bit disappointed - I hope its worth the effort and money spent with Kreg.
You had a much easier time than I have been having. I've been working on my table since March. I'm going to have to get a friend come and help me complete it.
I'm in the process of putting this table together. So far it's been pretty simple but your video has provided great tips for smoothing the process. I guarantee there would have been shop projectiles if I wasn't warned in advance about the corner pieces. That's exactly the kind of thing I tend to overlook and become royally pissed about.
Loved the demo, but why didn't you mount the table top with the Kreg lower stretcher bar which has the Kreg logo on it to the front? I noticed you had the stretcher bar with Kreg logo upside down.
I had the same problem with two of my locking screws. i just left the two straight screws in tight, turn my tabletop over. unscrewed the crooked levelers from the base. then threaded the locking screws through the top of the upside down plate and through the plate leveler holes and tightened it down. this centered the levelers properly. And then fastened them to the tabletop.
GREAT VIDEO!!! KREG SHOULD PUT THIS ON THEIR SITE.. I see Kreg has made changes to the fence, because i dont have bumpers or end caps. I just purchased mine though a few days ago
FYI: If it's like the bench top unit.. measure the length of the wood screws they are a hair longer than the thickness of the top.. seating those screws will make the point of the screw blister the laminate surface.. add a small washer solves the problem.
Went together very easily for me, however, in attaching the table to the stand, Kreg offers no videos, instructions and no screws to attach. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with the product and assembly (other than this one issue) was quite easy.
I have just acquired a Kreg router table and have assembled it ... your video was of great help! I have a question ... the fence seems to bind on the lock side when I slide it across the table ... why is it doing this, is something too tight or too loose, have tried to adjust the plastic screws and nuts that hold it to the rail, but have not had much luck in resolving the issue ... any ideas???

What a terrific resource!! Thank you so much
Excellent, excellent presentation. Well done. Very professional.

Thanks for your honesty. I prefer the Incra table and fence system.

I wish someone would update this video. I have no mounting plate and no predrilled holes. I wish someone from Kreg would reach out to me.
How much would that be?
